Not to my satisfaction

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in serious need of an upgrade. The beds were so worn out there were boards between the mattress and box springs. The mattress had no springs left so I literally slept on a plank all week.

Recent Stay at Royal Garden Resort 110

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Garden City Realty staff are very professional and helpful. The location of the unit is great. There were some issues though. Upon arriving at the unit, there were wet and dirty linens on the floor in the hallway and in the bedroom. The unit was not clean and some blinds from the sliding glass door were laying on the floor in the living room. Garden City Realty responded quickly when contacted about these issues. Other pieces of the blinds fell off during the week. This is more of a reflection on the owner. The owner seems to care more about using the cheapest possible accessories for the unit. The kitchen faucet was loose. A bedroom lamp was falling apart. I can go on. It was reminisent of a cheap budget motel that we always avoid. I know that there are some very nice units at Royal Garden Resort as we have stayed at some in the past. We will not ever stay in that unit again.

Scary experience

Room was dirty, balcony had trash on it, cooling did not work, carpet wad dirty and frayed, ceiling tiles in bathroom were dirty and coming down. Toilets gurgled all nite and produced a bad smell. too many things to list. What a dud!

Good View Bad Air

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We like condo. It was stuffy. We had to open doors to get breeze. we know AC turned off, but AC at "70" was stuffy. now fans (except kitehcen), low air pressure. Stuffy is the word. We sweat a lot. Our mother live in Jenkins. we come at least once a year. We need you to help us find a better solution for a more comfortable environment. economy on AC fior owner aside, we want a cool environment. We did not like min and max on ac and then no fans!!!

Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The parking garage was nice, but if you are driving a bigger vehicle with a cargo carrier on top of your bigger vehicle, than you will not fit. We learned the hard way! The condo was too small for the maximum occupancy it allows, which is 6. 2nd bedroom was very small and there was no dresser. Closets only had a few hangers. Hall bathroom smelled like sewer gas and at times both toilets would make a loud gurgling sound. Unit was clean, but needed updating. All appliances worked properly. The resort was nice and clean. We used the outside pool every day. We never used the indoor pool. The view and location was great.

Reviewer Comments: Loved the Garden City area--will stay there again--the only issue we had was late arrival--no one told us where to retrieve a key after hours--this was taken care of promptly--unit was clean but needed some updating--location was great as were all amenities--local people were wonderful in recommending nearby restaurants and shopping.

Older resort but nice location

Toilet in hallway leaked and smelled of sewer gas.

Very Annoying the first two weeks of April

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for three months. The fire alarm going off at least 5 to 6 times during our stay was annoying. No fires reported. Syste4m needed to be upgraded which was done while we were there. When the high school spring baseball and softball teams came in before Easter, the parents and students were not going by the rules of the resort, including after hours of noise on the deck and firecrackers after midnight hours on the beach. I would recommend not staying there whenthe high school breakers come to Myrtle Beach.
