'Great spot on the pond! Wonderful place for couple or one person to stay. The dogs loved the fenced in yard and so did we. Home had everything we needed to make meals. Also had many of the small things like coffee filters, foil, a few zip lock bags etc that saved us having to pick up. 'We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. 'It was a charming cottage in dreamy surroundings! We loved our week in the very comfy cabin with great kitchen, dock with kayaks, beautiful grounds and flowers, and trail into town to see the shipyard, sailboats, and quaint Main Street. It was also great fun to have our dog with us and throw the frisbee on the expansive lawn.'

'We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. 'This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. The location was in close proximity to Camden (10-15 minute drive), and a lot of other must see destinations in Maine (Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc) are within 60-90 minutes. There was a sailing...

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
