'The villa is brand new and well equiped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very large, actually everything is very spacious. Nice livingroom and great kitchen. We had a lovely holiday week at this villa. The small town of Blonay offers a supermarket and some small shops and restaurants. 'We loved the house. The view over the lake was breathtaking. It was decorated with style and we liked sitting on the balcony or in the living room and enjoying the view. The kids loved the fact they had their own floor and a large garden where they could play frisbee. There were a lot of activities you can do with children. 'Unfortunately there were a lot of aspects of booking and staying at this property that were unprofessional and uncomfortable. The only person who spoke to us was the host’s husband, and he never gave us his name, even in person. We never saw or spoke to Madeleine. They didn’t respond to messages in the app. Madeleine’s husband asked us to cancel on our end 2 days before the reservation began. His rationale was that there was an ant infestation but that they were harmless so if we didn’t want...
