'Out of the way location but worth the drive through the rolling Tuscany hills. Arrived late evening. Staff could have been more welcoming. No offers for assistance, just handed the keys and directed to room. None the less, enjoyed this venue and would stay here again.'

'We had a wonderful time staying at the house. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature and the house itself is charming and well cared for. The swimming pool and the tennis court were fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day'

'The reception was extremely helpful with all our queries even before we got to the property and really helped make sure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment came with amazing views and the basic necessities. The pool was a very nice size and kept clean for us to enjoy. We also booked a horse riding lesson which was with a great instructor and I’d highly recommend a ride if you have the time. Thanks for the hospitality! '

'Heerlijke plek, goed verzorgt met prachtig uitzicht. Paola is een lieve, zorgzame, zichzelf zijnde, hardwerkende host. We hebben genoten van de rust en gemoedelijke sfeer. Ook boxer Paco (is een schatje) Misschien kan met wat extra hulp hun wijn en avondmaaltijd nog meer gepromoot worden. De ruimte is er zeker geschikt voor. Mooie kamers met elk een apart terras, voldoende afgescheiden, mooi zwembad, ook netjes allemaal. Het ontbijt was prima, weinig afwisseling, maar zeker voldoende....

Sonst hat sie ihren Charme und ist gut ausgestattet Gewürzen und anderen LebensmittelnToll gelegen mit Pool und Tennisplatz'

'Hotel San Lino is a very historical place to stay in Volterra. It has a magical view and a cosy swimming pool. The building is from 1480 and has a rich history. Its located within the walls of Volterra and is a very nice place to stay. The people working there a very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with breakfast. 'This was truly fantastic, Luca and his lovely wife are careful and passionate hosts who will do their very best to accommodate their guests. We had the quadruple room for 3 nights, it was large and comfortable. Breakfast (with nearly everything home made) is amazing as well. Only thing are the mosquitos near the swimmigpool and on the terrace but this is not something the hosts could do much about. We’ll be back when we come to Volterra !'

"Op basis van de zeer goede reviews besloten wij deze agritursimo te boeken. Helaas is het ons niet bevallen. De continue aanwezigheid van de eigenaren, dochter en kleindochter zorgden ervoor dat we weinig privacy ervaarden. Daar kwam bij dat de keuken apart zat van de slaapgedeelten en er verder geen gezamenlijke binnenruimte is waar je als gezin samen kunt zijn, de keuken is daarvoor echt te klein. Ondanks dat in de omschrijving genoemd werd dat de keuken apart zat, hadden we niet verwacht dat we eerst over ‘het terrein’ van de eigenaren moesten alvorens we bij onze eigen slaapkamers konden komen. Tot slot vonden we de inrichting en aankleding minimaal, gedateerd en soms ongezellig."
