Pensions in Mljet

'The area is nice. Its a village outside Dubrovnik about 35 minutes away by bus from the Old City. Its close to the beach. There's 1 grocery store and 1 restaurant that only serve during supper and needed advance reservation . The caretaker does not speak English at all. You need a goggle translator. The towels were crunchy Bring soap and conditioner as its not provided. It would be nice for the host to give some overview of the area . We felt that they don't care at all every time we ask them....

'Clean room but bed cover had what looked like a cigarette burn on it despite the property apparently being smoke free. Noisy area but that’s to be expected as it is quite a central and convenient location right by Pile Gate. Street entertainment stops at around 11pm so it does become quieter. Reception not always attended however was helpful at carrying my luggage up the stairs. 'We really enjoyed our stay and we are so glad we selected this hotel. We had a corner room with balcony with amazing views of the beach. Lovely and secluded and a nice spot to have a drink in the evening. Our room was really clean and the staff were friendly. The air con (much needed in July) was quiet and powerful and the blackout blinds were very effective. Breakfast was exceptional. 'We stayed for one night and it was OK. Could have done with bath towels rather than just hand towels. Curtains need attention so they close properly. Washing machine needs a deep clean to remove odours, so didn't use it. Just tired and dated but OK for overnight.'

'The property is in an excellent location right in the heart of the old town and it was maintained to the highest level (just as you see them in the photos). It truly felt like a luxurious room/suite and the only thing about it that you could comment on was that the aircon made a bit of a strange noise but other than that it was pretty perfect. Whilst it didn't affect us, the building in which we stayed doesn't have a lift. Would stay again.'
