I stayed in this unit early June 2021 with two girlfriends on a Mom's GetAway. I would highly recommend booking through Platinum- they are really great to work with. Specifically, somebody always answered my emails with random questions within a matter of hours, and with the exception of Sunday, somebody answered the phone the couple of times we needed to call during the trip. Also, the Platinum app is incredibly user friendly. Positives: clean; great management; easy walk to: beach, the main Hilton hotel (get a steak at Seagar's) and the Beach House restaurant; shuttle to Baytown Wharf Village just across the highway (where there are tons of things to do); old golf cart, which is on its last leg, but can easily get you to the grocery and liquor stores and/or the Village. Cons: no pool (under construction); golf cart brakes and steering are shot, and somebody "borrowed" our cart one night because some of the keys are apparently universal (so- keep track of where you park it and let management know if you do not find it in the proper place so you are not stuck with any potential damage from joy riders)- Platinum was very understanding when this happened to us; BIGGEST CON- the master bedroom mattress is like a rock. I saw earlier reviews about this and thought "How bad can it be?" It's bad- LOL. If you're driving, pack a foam mattress maybe? The twin bed mattresses are fine. The master bedroom is also very bright in the morning and construction on the pool area starts early (like 7am), so an eye mask and ear plugs is also a must have for that bedroom.
