« This property is a gem! Wonderfully clean and comfortable property with direct lake access and plenty of parking. Meal prep was simple in the well designed and fully stocked kitchen that included quality cookware. The open concept floor plan allowed for everyone to interact while cooking, assembling a puzzle, or playing one of the may games available. « Otter Creek Cottage worked very well for our group of six adults (two couples and two singles), it would also work great for someone with kids (the attic has so much room)! The property manager, Tim, was very responsive. Location is convenient to both Bar Harbor and Acadia, and an easy trip to Roosevelt-Campobello, and so many other things. « Beautifully curated in such a quaint location! Many VRBOs are nice enough in convenient places, but THIS place is special. The furnishings and decor give a European simple elegance, but the spot is SO Maine! We enjoyed the few local spots and proximity to nature…truly fantastic place to unplug for a while! »

« Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

« Amazing views! Quiet deck with a hammock. Kayaks (sit on top) and life jackets provided. Shoreline shallow not good for swimming but the cove was smooth as glass for kayaking. Easy to find and close to Bar Harbor. 45 min from Acadia's visitor center where you can catch a bus to the park. Very easy. Enjoyed this rental immensely. Other house on property not an issue..if it was rented to a larger group noise may have disturbed us but not a problem for our stay. Kitchen had everything and a grill...

« Very pretty house with a perfect mix of open living space and well designed sleeping area. The rooms had nice beds and pillows. Living area had pretty open space incorporating the living room and dining room. It also had a view from kitchen. Overall a great place to stay! »

« Location is the number one asset of this house, easy & pleasant walk to town. All the basics were well stocked, paper towels, soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwashing soap & laundry detergent. The AC while typically not needed, worked well. Communication with management company was very good. The furnishings were perfectly adequate. The house was sufficient for our family as we were out and about most days. The front porch was lovely but, needs more furniture. There was only a square table...
