'I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful waterfront property. It is perfect for a couple's escape. We were looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, and this stay fit that. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything I needed to cook. The balcony was a peaceful place to eat dinner while listening to the waves. The hosts communicates quickly but also gave all the privacy we craved. If I'm ever back in Maine, I will definitely stay here again.'

'Our waterfront house on Dyer bay was perfect. Just my wife and me. The downstairs is one open room and the bathroom. Beautiful woodwork throughout. The “dormer” bedroom upstairs had been completely redone. Again, beautiful woodwork. The view is open to the Dyer Bay. Also there is a nice area with a fire pit to the side of the house. 'An amazing cottage for the two of us, in our seventies, on the coast of Maine. The views of the ocean, so very close, were just lovely. Sunrise, sunset, the punctual rise and fall of the tides. It was so quiet and peaceful there. We loved watching the bird activities. Schoodic Peninsula is nearby and the wave breaks there are thrilling to see. 'The location is fantastic. It was an easy 1/2 mile walk to the center of town, making it really convenient to hop on the Island Explorer or go to dinner in town. It was a good amount of space, with a reasonably sized living room for the 4 of us and it was great to also have a full-size kitchen. There were apparent signs of wear and tear on the house that slightly detracted from the atmosphere. 'We have just returned home from an absolutely incredible trip staying in this cottage. Everything was absolutely perfect and as described. I dont even know what the best part was. The incredible view or the amazing sand beach. We explored the cove at low tide and used the lounge chairs to sun bathe and read at high tide.
