'Lovely old pub with alot of charm. Rooms were smaller but very comfortable. The town is lovely. It had single sex shared bathroom that was spotless and a community kitchen that was well stocked. The meals were great '

'Everything was fantastic, 10 out of 10. The Shalet was spotless, it had a lovely wood fire and an electric heater. The rooms were all done in wood panelling, there was kitchen and laundry facilities and the spa bath was a lovely extra touch. Despite the rainy weather, we were very cosy and warm.'

'Amazing, quite unique, hotel floating in the middle of a lake with snow capped mountains in the backdrop, picture perfect. BUT that's it. There's really nothing else to do here, as you rely on food SOLEly provided by the hotel and there's no other external sources for food being so remote and the portions are small so pack some snacks, instant noodles. Aims for some fine dining vibe, but the quality is sub-par, may be due to meals being included in the price. The food alone would convince you...

'We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Views and environment are brilliant. The cabin delivered everything promised and was perfectly clean and organised.Erin (host) was prompt with replies to any questions I had.It was the perfect base for us to check out and fish many of the highland lakes within an easy drive.We will have no hesitation booking again.'
