Dear VRBO Support / Property Owner,I am writing to file a serious and formal complaint regarding my recent stay at the property located at [Property Address / Reservation Number].The apartment was in unacceptable and unsafe condition and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or habitability. The issues I encountered include, but are not limited to, the following:Cockroaches in the kitchen, which is completely unacceptable and a major health hazard.Mold/fungus in the sinks and wash areas, indicating long-term neglect and poor sanitation.A strong and persistent smell of marijuana inside the apartment, making the environment uncomfortable and inappropriate.The elevator was not working, causing significant inconvenience and accessibility issues.The entrance to the apartment was partially blocked by furniture, creating a safety risk and obstructing proper access.The apartment showed severe maintenance issues, including rotten baseboards, clearly demonstrating prolonged lack of care.Due to these conditions, the apartment was not as described on VRBO and was not suitable for occupancy. This experience caused distress, discomfort, and significant disruption to my stay.I consider this a breach of VRBO’s quality and safety standards, and I am requesting immediate action, including a full or partial refund, as well as an official review of this property to prevent other guests from experiencing the same situation.Please treat this matter with urgency.
