'We loved the location 3 minute walk to the old mission. The place was clean and the wifi worked albeit Mexican style. Everything is a short walk therefore a vehicle is not necessarily. Hertz is a short walk should you need a car for the day. Would book this again and again. '

'We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). 'Quiet beach, swimmable water. Accommodations had everything we needed and although there were only 2 of us, we'd like to come back with a larger group because the shared spaces were wonderful (group bbq/outdoor cooking area). The whole property was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.'
