Hostels in Metrostation Cuatro Caminos

'Geweldig verblijf gehad bij Generator. Midden in het bruisende centrum van Madrid. Zijstraat van Grand Via ... wat wil je nog meer. Hippe, vrolijke gezellige gezamenlijke ruimtes. Lange donkere gangen naar de kamers; zes verdiepingen; 3 liften. Schone, nette, kamers. + Douche op de kamer - toilet op de kamer. Met 7 "vreemden" wil je toch wat privacy als je gebruik maakt van het toilet. Handdoek kun je huren voor € 5,00 ... geen idee of je dan een gratis verse handdoek krijgt? Dat is een beetje...

'The hostel’s database got hacked and as a result i got contacted on whatsapp to pay or else the reservation would be cancelled. So I paid twice and the hostel doesn’t want to take any responsibility for its failure to protect the guests information that led to this situation which is in clear violation with the law. Worst experience ever!'

'Debod hostels was great ecspecially as a last minute booking. the staff was attentive and very accommodating. They cleaned everyday and maintained the property very well. Everyone staying was very assimilating to hostel life whether it was quiet time or not or out right just generous in helping with what you needed . I would definitely book again in advance. It is close to things you may eant to do on that side of town or not.'

The staff were helpful and the place was kept clean. The pods themselves were clean, but they were very creaky. Every time I moved, they made quite a lot of noise, which made me worry about waking the person in the pod underneath me. The pods also aren’t soundproof, so you can hear other people in the room opening and closing lockers or moving...

'The room is extremely small and the bathroom is one square meter with out-dated showers. The reception is located behind a standing, very small desk in the hall-way. There are no services or breakfast options. When I arrived from the airport jn the hotel I asked to go to the toilet. The declined and first want to do all formalities. I almost pissed my pants'
