'De locatie is erg praktisch voor ons doel, op tijd bij de ferry. Tevens is dat een reden dat de omgeving minder aantrekkelijk is. Maar slechte punten heb ik niet te melden, het hotel voorziet in een behoefte.'

'Very nice hotel on a very convenient location. Just outside the buzz of Southend pier and city center but in walking distance. Great views over the Thames estuary. The rooms are very well appointed. Great design. But unfortunately not all design is practical. The bathroom is really too small. Room 204 very large, but a tiny bed and an unworkable bathroom. This doesnt add up to comfort. I hope they have rooms with a normal size bathroom. '
