B&B in Merengebied

'The room was very pretty and well appointed with beautiful furniture and soft fluffy towels. As a side note the towels were purchased from a local business. The breakfast very delicious'

'I cannot say enough great things about this Bed & Breakfast. On our ten day trip through RI, MA, VT, NH and ME this place was by far our FAVORITE! The house is so convenient to town and easy to park and just leave your car for the rest of your stay. Our only regret was we didn’t stay longer! Beautiful room, amazing bathroom, agree living room with fireplace and the breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! Can’t wait to go back!'

'This is the quintessential New England Inn. The Squam Lake Inn was charming, welcoming, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. We were only there one night but it was a delightful experience!'

'The location was off the beaten path and in the woods. Quiet cozy room ( no TV ) price was more than reasonable considering what hotels on the Conway strip cost. Free breakfast was simple, apples, oranges, muffins, pastries, coffee, tea. Stayed for Fryburg Fair.20 minutes away. Hot water in the morning was an issue as it was only lukewarm both shower and sink . Wall heater in bathroom didn’t work but wasn’t needed ( 35 degrees outside). Electric heat worked . These issues I’ve had in major Hotels...

'Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind. Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well. Great time!'

'Cozy and friendly.'
