Great communication and clear instructions from our host. Clean and well organised house. Amazing pool. Beautiful linen. Incredible sky, sunsets and star gazing from the top deck. The outside shower was also very popular!
Early morning watching for koalas before the kids hit the pool. The landscaping is beautiful, secluded and welcoming.

We had a wonderful experience, staying three nights at this property in Somers. It’s the perfect location - being within a stone’s throw to the beach and general store. We all enjoyed the expansive heated pool and table tennis set-up. Beds weren’t super comfy for the grown ups, but the kids had very comfortable bunk beds. Margaret was a super host and was easily contacted with an initial query we had. Would stay again!

Beachside secret

This house was fantastic for our long weekend with family and friends. The giant pool and deck and gorgeous yard of native flora makes for an oasis that happens to also be walking distance to beautiful beach. And even at its busiest, this stretch of beach is not thronging. There's a great deck up top too and the sunset streams into the top floor. Special mention for the beds that are so comfortable. We keep coming back to this house. It's wonderful in Summer and cosy but still great for a Winter break. The host, Margaret is very responsive and lovely.

Very bad experience

Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The dishes and cutlery were dirty, including the white plates which required washing from scratch and stains over most of the cutlery. Additionally, we found bed sheet downstairs with yellow stains that seemed recent with a bad odour, and none of the outdoor chairs were clean, all chairs in the outdoor area were very dirty and dusty. Some of the towels provided were hand sized towels. Furthermore, the pool, which was supposed to be heated and for which I paid extra, was cold and not warm.

Our group of 4 x 50+ friends loved our stay at this property, the pool and garden was delightful, and it was relaxing listening to the birds. We were surprised at the request of stripping the bed linen before we left, which would be fine if staying at a friend's home, rather than paying accommodation. Awesome Pool in Somers

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this great property, with our 2 adult children and their partners. The house is well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. The garden is amazing and a great place to hang out, as well as the awesome pool. Margaret was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The only issue for us coming back would be that the front gate did not close and our dog could wander off the property. This may not bother everyone but could be a problem for people with pets. P.S our dog had a great time, and we managed to block the gate with our car.

Somers delight

We stayed for three nights at Ocean View Crescent. The house is highly functional, chic and relaxing. The grandchildren aged from 4-13 had so much fun in the heated pool with bouts of table tennis in between. Mother and grandmother enjoyed much of the same and really loved the bird song and nature walks down to the beach as well. Another big plus is the short stroll to the Somers General Store. All in all a wonderful experience. Recommend 100 per cent!

Gorgeous house and stunning location

We had such a nice time. We didn’t hardly leave the house as it was so lovely and relaxing. Beds are super comfy too. We opted to heat the swimming pool and spent most of our time in the pool. The house has everything that you could possible want for a holiday. I highly recommend and we will hopefully be back soon.

Family stay with style!

Our family group had a lovely stay here. The location is fabulous with the Sommers General Store and Beach so close (walking distance). The weather was on our side to enjoy the stunning pool and enjoyed the local resident kookaburras visiting us to say hello poolside. The house is well equipped with added extras - Thank you so much for the attention to detail! Overall a highly recommended place to stay and enjoy exploring the local region for a large family or friends.
