'I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.'

'At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.'

'Lovely hotel and as always im Sri Lanka, great staff. Amazing location and views. Points to note. Dont pay for the higher floor option. Its not taken seriously by the hotel. We were put in the 2nd floor and told anything above ground was considered the higher floor collection. Cheeky. You cant swim in the sea from the hotel. Its all foilage and coral. Thats all said its right on the sea and is an incredible spot to spend time. '
