Herbergen in Max Meadows

'This was a cute cabin, and it served my need to hide for a few days and check out of daily life. The 4 days I was there were rainy, so I didn't get to use the patio, but it was there and had a grill & patio furniture, as advertised. In fact, it was all as advertised & I enjoyed staying there. The bed was very comfortable, with a separate TV in the bedroom. The stairs were a challenge. Let me preface this by explaining that I'm quite short. The stairs were steep, but that wasn't the issue. 'Our favorite thing about this property was the awesome river access. The kids had the best time playing in the river and the huge yard. The house had plenty of space for two families with children. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I would recommend having a few more utensils in the kitchen and more towels/wash cloths for guests but overall this is a great place to escape reality and just chill. We truly enjoyed our quiet, secluded long weekend on the river.'
