Wonderful family getaway at Cedar Loft!

The space was cozy and comfortable, perfect for our stay. The kids absolutely loved the fireworks - it was extra special since it was our baby's first time seeing them. We're already planning to return next year. Highly recommend for families looking for a memorable experience!

Cabin is in the woods

From the moment we walked into Cedar Loft we were blown away by the beautiful scenery out the back windows to the decor inside the cabin. The owner was always readily available and responded promptly to any questions that we had. We felt the coziness of the cabin immediately from the snacks to the homemade cookies awaiting us. We will definitely be staying at Cedar Loft again in the future. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us.

Great for families

The house was clean, comfortable and cozy for our family of four, including two small children. The pools and surroundings are beautiful and our kids really enjoyed evening fires in the fire pit. The house also has a small playroom with toys that really came in handy on lazy afternoons. The manager was great with communications and even setup a very nice welcome basket.

Amazing property

This was my second time staying here for a mother-daughter getaway. The cabin is beautiful and decorated so exquisitely. We enjoyed watching the deer in the woods through the screened-in porch. The cabin was very clean. Lisa is an excellent host and communicates immediately answers to questions you may have. Upon check-in, she has the lights on, music playing, and freshly baked cookies on the counter. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay. Thank you, Lisa!

2023 Holiday Getaway

A lovely property perfect for a quick getaway from DC. The property is well-appointed with everything you will need from meal prep, linens and bedding. Lisa is a delightful hostess. The Christmas decorations were very much appreciated and helped make the Cedar Loft our 2023 holiday home away from home.

We loved our cozy mountain getaway!

The Cedar Loft cabin was absolutely wonderful! It was cozy and felt like your home-away-from-home. The small touches really made such a huge difference, including comfortable beds/pillows/couches/chairs, snacks upon arrival, coffee and tea, plenty of towels, extra toiletries, games, guides on what to do in The Woods and nearby - really set this apart from other rentals! We enjoyed a fire out back each night under clear skies and a peaceful backyard. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We can't wait to return!

Great cabin

First time in West Virginia and it was a very pleasant stay. We spent a bit over a week in the Cedar Loft and it we had a good time: pools, fire pit, even got a chance to attend a concert in the park at the community. Lisa, the host, was very easy to get in touch with if needed and she made the entire process as seamless as possible. Thanks again for hosting our family!

Perfect little get-away

This lovely little cabin is in a perfect location for a getaway. We enjoyed having breakfast on the back patio watching the birds at the feeders and the adorable twin fawns just into the woods. The cabin is close to the golf course clubhouse -- and these are two of my favorite golf courses. Interesting and challenging but not too long. And they are in great condition. We enjoyed eating at the Grill where the staff are awesome. And we went through to Shepherdstown for a couple of CATF plays. Just 40 minutes drive. A perfect get away. Lisa is an amazing host. And the cabin is like something out of "House Beautiful". Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Cabin!

I loved so much about this place that it’s hard to name them all. If you are looking for a gem, then this is it! The pictures do not do this place justice! What a cozy spot nestled in the woods! The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided so many amenities! From the freshly baked cookies to the plush bathroom towels!!! Perfect weekend!

Relaxing weekend

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend away at the cedar loft. It was just as beautiful and cozy as the pictures. The entire house was spotless and all the linens smelled so fresh and clean. Lisa was an amazing host and provided many extras to make our stay comfortable.

Delightful is the perfect adjective for The Woods and the owner. The property is charming and comforting, easy to enjoy and full of everything you need. Perfect getaway

The cabin was so prettily decorated yet very comfortable. The bed we slept in was so comfortable that we want to duplicate the mattress at home. The same can be said about the recliner in the living room. The cabin's kitchen was stocked with everything needed including spices, coffee, and all sorts of dishes. The property the cabin is located on is absolutely perfect. It backs up to a protected 23,000 acre forest. We took great delight in watching the deer come down from the forest every day and across our yard. We also enjoyed the different birds that came to the feeder in the backyard. The owner always replied within a minute or two to any concerns we had before arriving. When we had a question concerning using the spliter system she and her husband came to the cabin within 15 minutes to help us. They are absolutely delightful people. We will definitely return the next time we come to the area to visit family.

Relaxing getaway

This place is awesome. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. We could not have asked for a better host Lisa she was so on top of things. Nestled in the woods for much needed rest but close enough to several towns to do shopping, eating and check out a few breweries and wineries. Closing the night out with a fire. So relaxing.

Cute and Cozy Christmas!

Several of my girlfriends and I like to get together at Christmas time since we all work remotely and don’t get to see each other in the office anymore. We stayed here for our trip this year and was over the moon impressed!! The cabin was stunning and incredibly clean. There were snacks waiting for us and I think the owner has thought of providing everything you need on your trip! Definitely would like to plan a stay again highly recommend!!!
