The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! 'There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds...

'Stayed in mid-September for Tunnel Race Marathon which was coinvent for the finish area. Even though rooms are on lower (basement) level, it was warm and fan was not enough with European type bedding. Previous reviews had mentioned no air-conditioning. We were able to get an extra sheet instead of the duvet on the second night. Communication was good once established.'

'This is the second time we've stayed here, and it's one of the most amazing vacation rentals anyone could expect. The cabin itself, beyond its impeccably detailed design and appointments is situated on a lake that simply transports you to some other place and time--timeless really. 'The cabin was a mixture of efficiency and modern, artsy design. The kitchen area was very well designed and we loved the design of the fridge. They had everything a couple would need, coffee, towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. it appeared that the cabin was totally updated within the past two years. "Heerlijk hotel, heerlijke bedden, mooie omgeving met bomen. Ontvangst was vriendelijk maar wel traag. De lage beoordeling op service is iets voor wat achteraf gebeurde. Mijn dochter verloor haar lievelingsknuffel op de kamer, direct gebeld maar de lost en found is enkel een bandje, niemand die je te woord staat, nummer doorgeven maar nooit terug gebeld."
