'The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. Ideale plaats om naar het vuurwerk op Toya Lake te kijken vanuit het salon op de kamer of op de gezamenlijke ontsanningsruimte. Hier kan je meerdere dagen verblijven en van daaruit de buurt bezoeken. Aanrader eetcafé ‘Soup curry Gom Gom ‘ op een 15min rijden van het hotel. '

'This is a gem of a hotel. Located on the edge of the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has a genuine Japanese vibe. The rooms have baths with hot spring water. The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu.'
