'Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!'

'Upkeep is good: everything feels bright and new. Breakfast is better than normal: they provide hard boiled eggs and real “fried egg pancakes”, unlike other places where scrambled eggs are processed egg like “things” with plenty of starch. Sausages and meat paddies were good as well. Staff was helpful. Only complaint: the bathtub drain was half clogged. Other than that, all was very satisfactory.'

'Location was good. We were not impressed with the hotel. Our bed linens had blood stains on them which was discussing. The chain lock on our door was broken so we only had the bolt to lock us in. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken. The shower dispenser did not offer shower soap only shampoo & two conditioners. We could smell cigarette smoke throughout our stay coming from a near by smoker. Ok breakfast but not impressed with the condition of our room.'

'Shower drain was clogged for my employee who just got done driving for 7 hours. Didn't want to bother staff at that time of night so he stood in 2 inches of backed up water. Nasty!'

'We stayed here two years ago and it was amazing. I’m trying to not sound prejudice but the property is under new Indian ownership and has gone downhill severely. All the furniture in the lobby was so stained and dirty you didn’t want to sit in any of the chairs or couches. Lot of burned out lights in the lobby, only one elevator worked. The bar didn’t have any beers on tap like they did before, I ordered a Gin & Tonic and requested a lime as well. The bartender didn’t want to give me one and...
