'Very friendly and clean place. Some downs sides is the soundproofing. I could hear all the doors closing and it echoes loud. The water pressure in our room wasnt good no matter the setting. The restaurant not being open is also a draw back, because there are not many options for food unless you want to drive a bit. All things considered i still had a nice time and will be back if or when they open the restaurant.'

'The house has been updated nicely especially bathrooms! Great view and the screened in porch is amazing! The location is fantastic, close to The Guesthouse and the farmer's s market too! If you are planning to cook a lot as we did, there is not a ton of counter space and no dishwasher.'

'Perfect for us. We traveled to the area for a family reunion and I needed a place where I could have my dog with me. My daughter needed a kitchen to prepare food for the reunion. And we all had comfortable sleeping arrangements. I would definitely choose this house again when traveling to the Hardy/Grant County area.'

'The kitchen was fully stocked, the bathrooms were clean. Soap and lotion at all three bathrooms. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in both bathrooms. Soft towels. The house was very clean. The enclosed porches were wonderful especially since a few days were cool and rainy. There were hammocks to sit in, outdoor table to eat at, furniture to curl up in with a blanket and relax. We had a terrific time and really enjouyed the quiet. I higly recommend this house.'

'AMAZING outdoor space, but no furniture to enjoy any of the decks. The house is a stunner in a great location, but the furniture is chintzy, cheap, and dirty. The bedroom in the “guesthouse” was dank and had a weird odor. Beds were comfortable, towels were miniature and lacking quality. The owners could make this a gem with some furnishing/linen investments, especially with all the good options around Lost River.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Valley View House. The house is gorgeous and has amazing views. The property had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend visit including soap, shampoo and condiments. The hot tub was huge, and all the furnishings were lovely. We would love to stay again sometime in the future.'
