Budgethotels in Long Island City

'Absolutely great, hidden gem. Close to some serviceable tourism subways and plenty of conveniences around. The staff was great, front desk was helpful and cleaning staff was friendly. I’m plan to stay again (and probably again).'

'Ruime kamer in rustige buurt, bed ligt goed.

'Very disappointing experience. We booked five nights at LIC Plaza Hotel through Expedia, but left immediately after seeing the condition of our room. The toilet was dirty around the hinges of the seat, and there was additional dirt/residue on a cabinet. We reported this to the front desk, and a staff member came to inspect the room. He agreed that it was unacceptable and took photos himself. What made us decide to leave, however, was discovering cockroach-like insects in the curtains and on the...

'The room was very noisy. Walls were really thin and constant banging of dumpsters being shifted/moved around in the parking lot across the street from the hotel. Also, our room was freezing. The heat/HVAC didn't work properly. Instead of switching us to different room with working heat/HVAC, they brought us a floor heater and extra blanket.'

'I liked very much the hotel. The employees from the reception in evening very attent. Rooms are clean, big, confortable. The metro station is some steps from the hotel. There are a lot places to eat near the hotel, shops, supermarkts etc.'

'The room was not clean, far from Manhattan and no metro in the environment.'

'First time visit at this hotel and loved it from the moment we walked through the door. All of the staff were very helpful (had problems with the airconditioning after a couple of days, but were helped within minutes by being moved to another room). Special shout out to Douglas, who made us feel welcome from the very first second. He couldn't be any more friendly.'

'Goede locatie, dichtbij de Metro. Schone kamer en vriendelijk personeel. Voor de tweede keer hier verbleven. Voor herhaling vatbaar'

'Net hotel, metro om de hoek. '
