Cottages in Limefitt Park

'This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

'We have had several visits to Appletree. It is a brilliant venue for family/group get togethers. It is very comfortable and very well equipped, always immaculate. The new garden chairs are extremely comfortable and the garden parasol was an essential for our wall to wall sunny week - incredibly, not a drop of rain all week! We would always return here ..... when available.A word about the staff at Keswick Cottages, they are great to deal with as we have found over the years, nothing is too much...

'Great accommodation in a lovely little village with fantastic views. Everything you could need to make this a home from home and only a 20 minute walk into Keswick.'

'Banf Cottage was just perfect for our family trip away hiking in The Lakes. Clean, comfy and great location. Would highly recommend.'

'Rosebank is a very clean, comfortable cottage. Lovely views across to the hills at the back & pheasants & lots of birds visit the garden.Very handy for the Coledale Inn, & the Royal Oak & 5 minutes in the car to Keswick if you want to try something different like Thai food at the the Star of Siam. We have stayed there frequently & will definitely go again. Many thanks.'

'Clean room, good location, parking included'

'Very tidy and cozy. The view is amazing !'

'This was our third visit to Lydia's River Cottage and that alone will tell you that we love the accommodation. It's comfortable, has excellent quality homeware and the location couldn't be better for our purposes. Sitting on the terrace, watching the Greta flow past and keeping an eye out for the bird life makes it an ideal getaway for us. Handy garage/food shop 100 yards away and Keswick is a wonderful town for restaurants. You couldn't ask for more.'

'We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. The views from The Eyrie are stunning. The Eyrie had so much space and was very well presented. Lovely, comfy beds and all facilities great. Everything thought of. The only thing I would mention (this was not a problem for us) but for anyone with low...

'A fabulous apartment to stay in and beautiful place to return to after adventuring. We enjoyed doing long hikes from the apartment without needing to move the car. And we really enjoyed being able to walk out straight to the market. The parking was easy to find, however, the directions for the apartment were hard. The app did not work for us off-line and it would have been better to have a pdf from an email with simpler directions, such as the door to the left of The Stripey Sheep Boutique,...

'This property is great value for money. Could do with a little bit of deor makeover in living room , a bit dated (sorry).but this may put people off which is otherwise a great rental. Very comfortable beds, bedrooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. One bedroom at the top of the property has a great view of Latrigg and Skiddaw on your own private balcony with chairs and a table. Great for a coffee on a morning . Massive added bonus is your own parking space at the rear of the property....

'We loved Jasmine cottage and didn’t want to leave! It’s close to everything we needed. Great location. We loved going to The Chalet cafe next door for breakfast or a drink and cake after a long walk, walking to the Lake, walking to Lingholmes walled garden and their amazing cafe. Close to the Alpacas! Lovely powerful shower and very comfortable bed- and I’m very fussy about shower’s and mattresses! Plenty of room in the cottage even though it’s only a one bedroom. Immaculately clean and...
