« The rooms were really clean, and the staff was amazing. They were helpful and attentive to anything that I needed. The food, oh my, the food - so, so good. Over the course of a week, I had the fish & chips, the burger, a chicken Caesar salad, and multiple variations of the eggs Benedict. The location is great, providing lots of opportunities to explore and walk around. Thanks, Hartford Hall! »

« I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints »

« We stayed two nights for a reunion of friends who graduated from university 50 years ago. The hotel is a traditional pub with four small but comfortable bedrooms and a terrific location with wonderful views across the Peak District. « Everything was great until the boiler fired up just after midnight and I realised thats what was in the cupboard 3ft from my pillow! Dont think we will return which is a shame as the location and the staff were brilliant but a boiler in the bedroom Really!!! »

When I arrived Jason at the check in desk was so kind and moved heaven and earth to get me a room that was ready so that I could change and leave for the wedding.
