'The atmosphere is great at Selina, relaxed friendly with great service. It can be a bit noisy during the night'

'Inchecken ging niet goed. In de boekingsbevestiging stond dat het totaalbedrag inclusief alle belastingen en toeslagen is, maar daar aangekomen moesten we nog 13% belasting over het bedrag betalen. Het zwembad zag er vies uit (niet gebruikt) en het ontbijt was ook niet heel hygiënisch. Kamer klein, hele dunne matrassen en dunne kussens. Heel veel lawaai van muziek op zaterdagnacht. Ik heb niet kunnen slapen. De wifi werkt niet bij de private room.'

'The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. We arrived late at night and found the area the hostel to be quite sketchy. I would not recommend walking the streets at night. The hostel itself felt very safe though. Great place to stay if you are looking for something cheap near the airport. '

'I am grateful for the amazing affordability of this hostel which was also paired with a low-key easy-going atmosphere. When I was told that there would be “a pancake” in the morning I wasn’t expecting much but I was happily surprised to discover that this pancake was very large, neither over cooked nor under cooked and it was decorated with two different fruits on top along with syrup of course. Thank you! I’m so grateful.'

'Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it.'

'The property was a very large and a private space that felt very welcoming. Offering a delicious breakfeast in the morning, transportation to and from the airport and a great selection of tours that were exceptional! It was located in a quiet and comfortable nieborhood along with good places to eat nearby.'

'This is the second time I stayed on a bee suites. the first time was in Santa Ana, now in Escalante. The cleaning conditions, the quality of the instalallations, furniture and appliances, excellent. This is the place to stay in San Jose'

'The 2 bedroom with kitchen was nice and clean.. The beds where good and the shower had nice warm water (not always as good in costa rica). Breakfast was good and staff very helpfull and friendly. Room a bit noisy due to people walking so close to the window but this was only in the living room not the bedrooms. Location is good, not downtown but close enough to be there in a few. This hotel is a goid place to start or end your holiday in beautiful Costa Rica!'
