'We kwamen eigenlijk voor 3 dagen uitrusten, en wandelen in de omgeving. We hebben het zo naar ons zin gehad, dat we 2 dagen bijgeboekt hebben. We zijn erg verwend door Nadene en Pat, onze geweldige hosts. Iedere morgen was het ontbijt weer een verassing, met creatieve en smakelijke details. In de Bee 'n Bee voel je je direct thuis, erg stijlvol aangekleed, met kleine details in en om het huis. 'The vibe is good, walking distance to the beach is the best part. However, our room was not clean. Our sheets had blood on them and we didn’t notice until the next morning. Our TV was not working either, it would turn on but it would freeze at the welcome page. I paid $600 for this place it’s definitely not worth that much.'

'Pool was not maintained very well as it had bugs floating in the shallow end. The entire restaurant was booked by one party on a Thursday with no advanced warning. We were there to see a play in the area and had to scramble to find some where to eat.'

'This is NOT B&B. The guests have to make the coffee, do the dishes and all you get for breakfast is pastries, fruit and Yogurt. Too many signs...go out the back door and you are locked out. Bedroom light fixture over bed fell off the wall when we tried to adjust it.'

I chose this motel because it allowed dogs, as I had no-one to look after him for me, as well , a motel is easy to let the dog out to do their business. 'We stayed in an apartment at South Shore Suites and had an excellent experience. The place was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a great plus during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful detail of having coffee available for the coffee maker. 'The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful.'

'Run down Restaurant good food but short staffed, long wait'

'Nice hot breakfast, hotel is nice and clean, rooms are large. Never seen a bathroom so big and the Barth tub was really well organized for showering, having one of the heads in center of tub with the controls in the center also, no reaching and risk of getting wet when trying to regulate the pressure. The bed and pillows were one of the best. Slept as good as at home. The only drawback back is you occasionally here doors slamming. Could benefit from installing door closures and add a chair...
