« Lovely clean, comfortable, friendly, welcoming hotel in an amazing setting. Room was perfect. Even had a mini fridge to keep your milk in. There was flapjacks and a bottle of beer in the room to enjoy. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked with local ingredients. We will book again. »

« Charmant petit hôtel de passage, les chambres sont assez confortables. Petit point à revoir sur la literie et la propreté de la salle de bain. Nous y avons dîné 2 fois et la nourriture était bonne. Bon rapport qualité / prix! »

« A really nice stay whilst we were walking The Dales Way. Stayed in room 2 which is on the top floor. It faces the road but there is no appreciable noise. Friendly welcome and food excellent, If in the area we will visit again. »

« Single occupancy for two nights - small room, but clean, good shower & comfortable bed. Food (smoked salmon & scrambled eggs for breakfast and Cajun chicken salad in the evening) was excellent and portions were generous. Staff friendly and efficient. All for a very reasonable price. Great location to explore Lake Windermere. »
