I wish I would’ve read all of the reviews before I booked it. I agree with all of the negative reviews. The place was not clean. There was black mold in all of the showers. You could not walk around on the floors without getting your feet or your socks, dirty. The place was not vacuumed. There were numerous things within the house that were broken. The dishwasher did not work. It flooded all over the kitchen floor, the Dryer made large noises and said that the vet was blocked, the soap dispenser in the kitchen sink was never hooked up to anything, and the coffee machine needed descaling. I reported this to the owner. He did have a handyman come out the day before we left. The handyman stated that all of the concerns that I had have been mentioned before, and they have not been addressed. In addition, there was extreme poor communication between the house owner and me.He never stated that there was a charge for heating the pool or the spa. In addition, he said that there was no charge for a dog and then he wanted to charge me 200. I had a copy and paste the written statement that he had that there was no charge for a dog. I feel that the owner needs to take all of our concerns to heart and fix all of the issues that are going on with the house. The kitchen was poorly stocked. You don’t even have eight forks.I just want to make everyone aware of the concerns that I have and I do have pictures to document all of it.

Beautiful location with views of the golf course and mountains, and very private. Unfortunately, the home itself is not up to standard. Several things were broken, including the dishwasher, refrigerator, and the sliding door to the outside. The linens were stained, and the floor in one of the bedrooms appeared to have water damage, as it was uneven. The host was very communicative, but overall the condition of the home was disappointing.

The view combined with the patio, pool and spa was the major selling point for us to pick this property. We were very familiar with the PGA West/ La Quinta area and knew that this property was a little further away. The house itself has great bones and is obviously set up as a rental property. It’s comfortably appointed and very conducive to social activity. The electronic games are a fun touch. While the master bedroom and bathroom are very spacious, the second bedroom located near the front entrance is just a room, which was probably intended to be an office that is now set up as a bedroom without a closet. The doors to it are a frosted glass. That bedroom is very susceptible to noise and light. Someone staying there has to walk into the great room and down the hall to a shared bathroom with the third bedroom that is set up for kids with bunkbeds. The casita offers privacy for another sleeping option. Our challenges included the master bathroom sink on the right side, did not have cold water and leaked heavily at its joint. So much so that we were unable to use it. The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom also fell and dropped the toilet paper roll every time you used it. In looking back at previous reviews, I saw that these items had been brought up to the owner back in August and obviously never addressed. If I were looking at renting this property, I would absolutely question if these plumbing issues have been resolved. Patio cushions need replaced.

This home is in a great location on the golf course, with no homes on the other side, so very private. The backyard is perfect. The home is nice as well, with newer furnishings and quality mattresses. We loved the Casita too! I agree with some of the other comments about general cleanliness, kitchen supplies, etc. The communication with and response from the manager was great. A few additional things we experienced: there weren't any household instructions that we could find (A/C, garbage day, cable, etc.). Also, there was no cable, and Netflix was not accessible because the profile was locked (we rushed home from dinner to catch the fight). Most importantly, though, is that one of the bedrooms has no closet, is enclosed by double doors (that don't close/lock), with frosted glass panes, and it is right off of the kitchen/entryway. The room itself was nice, but I wish we would have known these details ahead of time. The couple who stayed in that room got very little sleep due to the noise and light, and had nowhere to hang their clothes. Just an FYI for groups that may have more than two adult couples on the trip! Overall it was a pleasant stay.
