We recently stayed at this vacation rental and had a mix of positive and frustrating experiences.On the plus side, the location is excellent—convenient to the beach and easy to get around from, which made exploring the area really enjoyable. The kitchen was also very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals comfortably, which we really appreciated. The pool was another highlight—clean, inviting, and a great place to relax.However, there are some important drawbacks to be aware of. The listing clearly states there is no air conditioning, which we were prepared for, but the lack of proper ventilation made things worse than expected. Many of the windows either don’t open or are missing screens, making it difficult to get airflow without letting bugs in. This was especially challenging since the doors leading to the pool need to stay closed because we were traveling with young children so if we weren't in the pool there’s very little opportunity for cross ventilation. Additionally, the shower heads barely produced more than a dribble, which made showers less than pleasant. The lighting throughout the house is also quite dim, making the space feel darker than it should.Overall, while the property has some strong positives, the ventilation and maintenance issues made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
