'Upon entering the hotel it was noticed how clean the lobby was. There was construction to improve one of the elevators but it did not cause any disruptions. The breakfast is your standard eggs, potato's, sausage, coffee etc, noting special but it was good. The room was very nice. the bed was comfortable and the pillows are GREAT! If you don't have good pillow at home. You should buy ING brand, they are GREAT pillows. The staff was friendly, they directed us to eating nearby about 3 block...

'I really enjoyed my stay at the Charles. Initially, they gave me a connecting room. In the adjacent room, apparently there was a dog as he barked frequently. I asked especially for a quiet room and was really upset that i was put in a room next to a barking dog. Then, I called them and they immediately moved me a much quieter room. From there on, the stay was smooth and enjoyable. Thanks. '

'I checked in late night and didn’t know there was an intercom by the revolving door (no instructions about that although I messaged the property about my late check in). Downloaded the citizenM app which did nothing and only added more confusion. I was able to go in with another person who tapped their card on the door. Otherwise the staff were kind and accommodating when I arrived at the front desk. The cost of my stay was really expensive but I would say less compare to other hotels around....
