Everything was great! Kitchen well organized. Beds comfortable. Game room area spacious and fun. Host very quick to respond. Check out super easy. Didn’t use them (quick trip), but washer & dryer looked big, which is something I really like for longer trips family trips.

Peaceful Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The welcoming committee of wild turkeys and deer made it feel extra special—we loved watching them right from the hot tub room. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and ending our nights around the campfire (firewood provided, which was a nice bonus). The location was great—close to our daughter’s softball tournament and an easy drive to go white water rafting. The beds were super comfortable—my three girls even said they slept better here than at home! The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay here again!

When this property lists its amenities, they ALL work. It is clean, beautiful, very well stocked in kitchen, and a wonderful place to enjoy our family. They chose to add the extra touches of sound machines, and then there is the hot tub, arcade, billiards and foosball. Best of all, is the immediate communication that you receive with any question. Great visit, gorgeous views.

The check in process was easy and convenient. The host was great about communication and helpful. The home was clean and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and tidy. There were plenty of extra clean linens. When we arrived the house was already warmed, and so was the hot tub. There were all the basic amenities like spices, cookware, coffee...We enjoyed the games and useful local information. The driveway is definitely a drawback, but everything else makes it worth it. The sunroom was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee on a chill morning. The trail was beautiful, we saw deer and lots of other local wildlife on the property. Even my picky teenagers had a great time. 10/10 would recommend for a nice quiet retreat.

Hilltop Hideaway

Getaway Cabin

My husband and I brought along some family and friends to visit our daughter at UTK! What a wonderful weekend! The place was clean, the owners were easy to chat with and the house had just about everything we needed! It was very peaceful! We saw deer and turkeys in the backyard which was fun! We wish the hot tub was working. We had packed our suits and had been looking forward to that since we had booked it a while back! One idea may be to have a few more hangers in the closets if possible and maybe a mirror in the one guest room. Obviously these are not deal breakers by any means just some ideas! We loved our stay and made so many amazing memories! We always had a good laugh getting up the driveway! It’s an adventure! We felt like singing the little engine that could song! Haha! So fun! Thank you!

Nice place, convenient to Knoxville

Five of us stayed here and it worked well for us. It's located about 20 minutes west of downtown Knoxville in a subdivision but didn't feel like it because it's up a huge hill in the woods. Felt very private and secluded for something so close to the city. The house fixtures and furnishings were good. Master bedroom suite upstairs and two smaller bedrooms downstairs. Family room, dining room and kitchen were all open to each other and the family room seating was good for sitting around and watching TV together. Nice place, the pictures accurately depict it. Short walking trails were good and we saw deer and wild turkeys during our stay. Host communicated well. Enjoyed it, would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Hilltop Hideaway is excellent! 5/5 would stay again!!!!

We were in Knoxville for a baseball tournament, and we wanted a comfortable place for the 4 to 5 days that we would be there. This place exceeded our expectations. Once you turn into the neighborhood, you may find yourself worrying that it doesn’t look as you expected for this listing. But have no fear, keep driving, and you will come to the driveway that takes you into your tree-top oasis! The owners warned us that we may need to be aggressive with the driveway. I like the word committed. It’s a little bit steep and winding, but that adds to your elevation experience from the world below. Once we got to the top and entered the house, we found it clean, well appointed, and the owners had left chocolate chip cookies and a coffee bar that was ready to go! We found that the home perfect for our needs! Our family enjoyed relaxing in the family room, which had plenty of space for all of us, and we loved the hot tub and pool table. More than once I found my husband sitting in the three season porch area, playing the video game that was in there. Keep an eye out for some huge wild turkeys that like to roam the property. We enjoyed watching them move about the property while enjoying the beautiful natural views. Great property!

Perfect Setting

Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect setting for our team retreat! There was ample room and the amenities were more than enough. Some of our team stayed overnight and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. While our group was there we were able to enjoy the inside spaces, kitchen, sun room with games, and the outdoor walking path. Thanks for a great time!

Absolutely incredible property that gives you privacy in the city. Updated with tons of amenities for all ages. Special thanks to the owners for treating us in a 5 star fashion. If you are coming to Knoxville this is the place to stay!
