« I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. « I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find cute little shops, restaurants, and the delicious Sluy’s Bakery. Just be prepared for the uphill walk back—it definitely gives you a little workout! Carol recently replaced two smaller windows with a large picture window, and the view is fabulous! « This is a very comfortable, quiet place to stay on Bainbridge. Easy communication with the host, nice personal touches like homemade granola and other breakfast foods.There were books available to read, a big tv if you need it, and a nice little outdoor spot to sit. I was solo and it was lovely and I think it would work well for a couple. »

« Perfect little getaway - so many fun little things were supplied - fresh OJ and eggs for breakfast already in our frig upon arrival - that was a special touch we haven't experienced before. Great communication with hosts. Super easy check in, felt private despite multiple guest facilities. Would stay again for sure! »

« Beautiful daylight basement with private patio in a pretty wooded area. No view of the water, and a bit of street noise outside, but quiet inside except for the putter-patter of little feet from upstairs sometimes. The resident small dog and cat were friendly and happy to welcome us. Shopping was just minutes away. Watch for deer if you drive the area at dusk/dark! At the corner where you turn into the neighborhood, there are tons of wild blackberries. »
