  • This ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is bright and airy and will be your go-to home year after year.

    Now featuring a brand-new split AC system for ultimate comfort during your island getaway.

    The open kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen appliances, cookware, and gadgets you will need for meals in. Stone counters, new cabinets, and newer appliances will make you want to whip up dinner every night.

    When meals are ready, head out to the lanai and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over the Pacific. This condo complex is front and center to the Pacific Ocean and has some of the very best views on all of Maui.

    Beachy, island-style art and décor throughout add to the appeal of this Maui hideaway. Living area includes dining space for 4 and is open to the breakfast bar and kitchen. Plenty of seating along with a Smart TV, ceiling fan, and a full wall of windows make this space simply delightful.

    Primary bedroom is just down the hall and offers queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and a wall of louvered Jalousie windows for enjoying the sounds of the ocean from bed and also for allowing the famous Maui trade winds to cool you while you sleep. Second room has queen bed AND twin bed and ceiling fan and louvered windows. Both full bathrooms showcase tiled walk-in showers. We struggled with this location for a few reasons. The unit seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time and there was an abundance of cockroaches in the unit. We left after one night. It would be a great location if it were clean and pest free. It was adjacent ocean view and had a promising porch.

AMAZING LOCATION & CLEAN

We loved our stay here and it was such a convenient location and easy to walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and much more. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

I liked the location and everything was good except for cockroaches. I was very disappointed as with my elderly mom we thought we would relax at home and eat at home but due to cockroach nothing can be on the table or counters. I also felt really groused finding cockroaches on bed and got in my clothes. Caldwell banker did not respond instantly till owner got contracted. Also electric kettle would be nice. The other room had very small space for toilet and shower and it was difficult to get in the shower

Best location, some maintenance needed to a nice unit.

We love staying in Kihei. This unit is in a wonderful location. We loved the condo; they need to fix the sliding door though. We also recommend earplugs because of the trash hauler - we were just fine with no A/c but with the windows open, it could be loud. Beautiful beaches, tough to bear!

A tropical "back yard"

This is a relaxed, very convenient place to stay. Only real drawback is that it's right next to the elevator on the 1st floor, so you hear people coming and going. Not recently updated, but good functionality. Ground floor is nice with kids as they can easily play on the lawn and access to the pool and beach is easy.

It was a nice, convenient place to stay. There is a broken lawn sprinkler in the yard, just outside the patio door. So at 10pm, it sounded like a rain storm.

Great family beach condo

The condo is great, steps from a great beach, grounds were well kept and great for watching the sunset. Unit was well stocked for everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels! Convenient location in South Kihei, able to walk across the street for almost everything. Had a minor issue with the washing machine, contacted the management company, they sent someone there to fix it very quickly. Overall it is a great spot, great experience, would definitely recommend.

CB Islands was a great host. Easy to contact and quick to respond. We would totally rent with them again. Would love if the unit added AC as the bedroom on the parking lot is loud at night with windows open and people passing by.

All ameneties, fully equipped kitchen, even beach towels. A no worries experience. We were a party of 4 adults and did all the major sightseenings on Maui: Road to Hana, Haleakala, West Maui circle, helicopter ride. All easily to reach from this location and conveniently located within 25min from the Airport as well.

Dream stay and location

Light, airy, roomy (except the galley kitchen, which was tight and great fun). Two master suites on opposite sides of the unit. One was noisier than the other due to proximity to the designated "park and unload" space for the whole building, trash, and mailboxes. No A/C in the unit, but ceiling fans and windows were sufficient for comfortable sleep. The kitchen could use a good sautée pan for us foodies! Otherwise it is very well stocked, very clean. Showers and beds are great. Location is a knock out - we rolled out of bed and stepped outside with bare feet every morning to walk on the beach, watch whales, or read on the grass. Easy walk to amenities across the street - natural food store, snorkeling gear, shave ice, etc. Fantastic retreat for 4 adults.

Noisy

The complex is in a good location on the ocean. You do get a small ocean view from the patio. However, this unit is at the front of the building. It was very noisy in the second bedroom. It's by the elevator and everyone passes by the window, which is also next to the trash dumper. Two times a week early morning the trash truck arrives, and we had people drive in and dump trash a few times during the week at around 2:30am. There is no AC, so you have to leave the windows open and endure the noise.

Disappointed - Online description did not match the property!

Online description did not match the property. The glass on the dining room table was damaged & removed. We were told it would be replaced but we were left all week without a dining room table for our meals (we were given a 10% daily rate discount). The bathroom towel rack fell off the first day. There were small bugs/ants everywhere. The tile baseboards were unfinished and unclean looking. The paint was chipping. The couch was old and worn, which we covered with a fitted sheet. The lanai deck doors & the beeping smoke detector were fixed upon request. We did appreciate the ground floor location, the lanai, and the access to the grounds & ocean. The residents were friendly & welcoming. We would return to Kamaole Nalu but would not rent this unit again!! Caldwell Bankers listened to our concerns but would not accommodate our request for a 20% daily discount.

A few things to be aware of, the front room is right next to the elevator and trash, which is collected multiple times a week at 7am. So if you are like me and have to sleep with the windows open in a non air conditioned room just know it will be loud and wake you. Would definitely stay here again.
