The thing that sets Villa Kirana apart is its unspoiled panoramic view from the rooftop. On clear days you can see the mountains of tabanan, the entirety of Berawa and the GWK statue in the bukit. Spectacularly situated for sunset cocktails or an afternoon read in dappled shade – we designed this space with you in mind.

Add to that our 4 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Choose a room amongst our favourites whether you are more drawn to an urban feel or want something classical. The Master bathroom also features an onsen style indoor/outdoor bathing area with water sluice fed bathtub.

We have crafted the private bedrooms to be tailored to your personal comfort, just ask our staff about various pillow and bedding options whether you prefer the firmer mattress for back support or another airy pillow to send you off to dreamland, we can accommodate.

The private pool and garden have a full sound system where you can run your own spotify playlist to match the afternoon mood or choose one of ours. Have a family movie night, or just recover from a big night out with movies on the couch - close the curtains, drop the big screen and enjoy the 5.1 Surround Sound home cinema.

The inspiration for the villa and the whole Narawangsa property is an exploration of the legacy of the Majapahit kingdom in the modern age. Majapahit is Indonesia's first empire and the birthplace of the concept for unified Indonesia - Nusantara. Elements and homage to the Majahait empire dot the common spaces and accent the private spaces around you. The carvings in the parking area tell two scenes from the story of Raden Panji - arguably Indonesia's oldest fairy tale - from this era. The Candi Tikus miniature temples line the access walk which are replicas of the sacred entrance temples in the capital city of Majapahit in the 12th century. The teak carvings in the gebyok follow the ancient batik kawung iconography and our many wayang kulit puppets are characters from the story of a lonely prince persevering to find his lost love. Even the character Narawansga was a storyteller in the epic helping Raden Panji surmount obstacles. We were drawn to the idea of being discontent merely telling an epic tale, but instead writing yourself in as a main character in the most important story of the era. Engage in the fairy tale as little or as much as you'd like, while enjoying your stay - but the next chapter is always just a page away.

For Families:
The indoor spaces can be completely enclosed protecting curious toddlers from slips, falls and tumbles in to the pool. The rooftop is completely enclosed to allow you peace of mind while you enjoy a sunset cocktail. Hi-chair, crib and nannies/babysitters are available for a small fee.

Services:
The villa comes complete with concierge service - our concierge can assist with transportation logistics, tours, massages, in-home dining including chef meals (and wine pairings!) to classic local meals. He can also help sort grocery shopping, bartenders for the rooftop and decorations for special occasions.
