The pet friendly cottage was quaint and clean. Within walking distance to Parson’s Beach and a short drive to the Rachel Carson trails, this cottage is just close enough to everything and just far enough away to offer peaceful evenings. The Maine Diner and Bull & Claw restaurants are just down the road. Kennebunk port and amazing boat adventures are a quick hop down the road. Wells, Ogunquit, and Kittery are within a half hour drive or less. Explore the beaches, shops, Marginal Way then retreat from all in the quiet little cottage. Wake up early, take the dog for a walk to watch the sunrise on the beach!

Booked a little late so couldn’t get a larger unit, location to Parsons beach was incredible, perfect distance for day trips for when it rained, pool and playground were nice perks with our 3 year old.

The location was perfect. The cabin was accurately described. The pool was a little disappointing, but overall a great vacation being so close to our favorite beach!

Keep looking, there are better places to stay

If you like liiving in a Goodwill store this is the place for you. Every aspect of the unit interior; the appliances, tv, kitchen utensils, flat ware, glasses, furniture, seem to have come from the local Goodwill store... Old, broken, mismatched and obsolete. The overall facility aura was negative with Auchtung Verbotten signs everywhere. I gave it two stars because the location is great, close to beach and all the seaport attractions.

Just wanted to get away with our Dog and this place was perfect! Short Walk to beach and trails! Also recommend the Bitter End restaurant that is also Dog friendly!!

Clean but disappointing

I chose this property for its excellent location and I wanted house keeping facilities as restaurants are out of the question in this age of Covid-19. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. But the kitchen facilities were disappointing. No oven, Just a toaster oven placed on top of the fridge. I'm 6 ft. I don't know how a short person would use it. No casserole dish suitable for use in the toaster oven anyway, so I guess they really did not want it used. The 3 burner stove top was OK. And there were pots, tools and a frypan. This may sound petty, but the property description specifically talks about cooking dinner as a feature of the unit. I guess the author thinks that cooking is reheating takeout in a microwave. The living room was furnished with an armchair and a very uncomfortable futon. The kitchen sink faucet sprayed water everywhere. And the bathroom sink stopper didn't work. But the location near Parson's Beach is wonderful. The property is being renovated, so maybe things will be better when the work is done.
