Cottages in Jonesport

'The house is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with an incredible view. We watched lobster boats come and go and seals fishing in the bay. A fantastic place to spend a few days! The house is small and no-frills, but clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We appreciated how it was far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the August crowds, but close enough to go there for the day. Check in/out was straightforward, and communication was excellent.'

'This is a beautiful and quiet location. It was cozy, clean, and had the simple essentials that were needed to cook, enjoy fires, and clean up after ourselves. Everything was easy to find and the host was communicative! '

'Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

'We had a truly wonderful week in Jonesport. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is great for that, top notch equipment, as nice as our home kitchen plus some spices and sugar and so forth for convenience. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the house and we loved the shack that's on the rocks over the water. Great for hanging out and reading or having a morning cup of coffee.The neighborhood is quiet and restful, but plenty to do. We went kayaking twice and hiking twice.I highly...
