Nieuw (!!!) hotel, ontzettend mooi, goed ontbijt
Recent geopend hotel. Erg mooi, goed verzorgde kamers met goede badkamer en bedden. Ziet er allemaal zeer verzorgd uit. Goede ontvangst bij de receptie. Mooie 'rooftop' swimmingpool. Kleine fitnessruimte. Bar/restaurant ook op hoge verdieping, leuk voor het uitzicht. Wij waren er op zaterdag en toen veranderde 's avonds het zwembad in een uitgaansgedeelte, zag er erg gezellig uit. Geen overlast van. Hotel is aan drukke weg gelegen maar daar merk je niets van. Rustig hotel. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Goede parkeermogelijkheden voor de auto (parkeergarage). Winkels, kleine shoppingmall en restaurants in de buurt. Op ongeveer 20 minuten rijden van centrum van Johor Bahru, hotel ligt aan de rand van de stad en is niet centraal gelegen. Openbaar vervoer (bus) wel dichtbij. Ook ligt het vlak bij de uitvalswegen, erg praktisch.

Location
I have stayed at this location multiple times as it is conveniently located near my errands. The staff is amiable and well-spoken. Moreover, numerous eateries around the area are easily accessible by foot.

The internet was down during my stay. The staff were kind enough to explain the technical issues but were unable to resolve. Overall, it is just a blimp in the stay but internet access is one of my personal priority

Great location if you want to explore Perling.
This hotel is just across Perling Mall and about a 5-minute cap ride to Angsana. Dayang Ku restaurant next to the hotel serves great local delicacies. The rooftop bar has live music daily. Overall excellent service with fast check-in and check-out was a breeze.

1) There are many flies at the lobby seating area (been here 3x and the condition still the same, hope the management can step up on the pest control) 2) There are no glass cup in the toilet for brushing teeth. 3) There should be a toilet mat / extra towel to be placed on the toilet floor as it is very slippery when coming out of the shower area. 4) The aircon have sound when the blade is moving up and down. Have to turn the blade off so that we are able to sleep. After all, the stay is good and comfortable. Affordable price compared to other hotels with breakfast. The staffs are friendly. Highly recommend! :)

1st check-into Silver Suite room discover a dead cockcoach on floor near the bed, poor housekeeping! Silver Suite room build for wheelchair/handicap for easy access into toilet nothing special, no hand towel, only 1 wall hook to hang clothes, no closet in room to hang clothes only a clothes railing mounted 4 inches out from wall, fabric chair too stained to sit/use, 1 of the window latch faulty cannot close fully, 1 ceramic cup with deep stain not replaced. Breakfast spread fair nothing to rave about since included into room rate.

Very old hotel, advice not to try. Checkin with broken door lick waste 1.5 hour asking the front desk guy to check and only replacing the lock and aircon leak with tv no internet connection and wifi is suck n nor secure, need to use own wifi. Frontdesk staff not even apologize but give an impatient and face and without even suggest to replace a better room. Lobby of the floor not even aircon. Very dusty and dirty place. Traffic is not convenient and wasted a lot of time on waiting for grab. Not recommended to stay.

It needs some caring..
We stayed in a room which had peeling water marked walls. The white bedsheets were of a greyish tint. The windows were dirty. The wifi as our previous stays was bad. I had to leave my room door open to be connected. The hotel leaves several ironing boards out in the hallway and I used it to place my laptop on it to do my work right there in the hallway. The hotel rooms have deteriorated over the years. It badly needs refurbishment or rather a total make over. The chair in the room is also stained. The only reason we stayed there was because it was my childhood neighbourhood and I have lots memories there. Regrettably it was the worst stay we had in Amerin over the years. Please make it better.

Hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but looks more like a 3 star hotel. Checked-in was reasonably ok. A deposit of RM100 is to be paid during check-in. Tge deposit will be refunded upon check-out. Room is small and space us good for 2 persons. All basic needs like toiletries, coffee & tea making facilities, hair dryer, room slippers & safe box are available. Bed was ok but the pillows were uncomfortable. I had neck pain the next morning. Room came with free breakfast. The breakfast spread was average. Food was average nothing special. Parking is free for hotel tenants.

The building wasn't really new, but beds and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast buffet is not too bad, having western, chinese and locals food. The location is convenient, easy to get Grab. There's live band performing during our stay on the 17th rooftop and we can hear them from our room on the 7th floor, but it ends before 12am. Air-conditioner is strong as well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Reached at 10.30pm. Given room quickly. Room was dilapidated. Lock was spoilt, management sent maintenance guy up at 10.45pm. Lock device was changed (screws and all) by 11pm. Air condition was dripping with previous user's condensation water? Walls were chipped. Masking tape pieces were still left on beautiful painting on wall above bed. Carpet felt dirty and dusty. Room windows were left open prior to us arriving at the property. Hair found on bed and countertop (assuming from previous guest?) Shower had chipped and missing pieces. Stains on bedsheets and pillowcases. Many questions that we were too tired to ask at 11pm. Not worth the price we paid. Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Management should review their rating and maintain hotel appropriately. From my experience is a budget hotel at best.

Horrible Hotel to stay ...very dirty
We have been very upset with hotel as we book this hotel based on 4 start and hoping for good service and clean room etc. I will rate this hotel not even 1 star. All bedding was very dirty and not even washed. Hotel floor lobby was very dirty and run down carpet and full of smoke and cigrette smell. All staff was not very help full and even our room phone was not working. I will request hotels.com to remove from their list.

When I flip over the cup in the room, inside is dirty. Could be previous guest make a simple wash and flip over and room attendant didn't check? The others is good.

4 Star Hotel? In your dreams. I hate being ripped off and when a Hotel has dirty uneven carpet floors, mismatched painted walls an unkempt entry it is not 4 Star. A towel was the only linen in the bathroom, no bathmat, hand towels or washer. I could go on stating I had Gastro right after breakfast but what is the point when obviously there are no checks or balances in Hotel Ratings so nothing I have written will have anything done about it.

Last min booking
It was a very last min booking. I literally booked the room when I parked in the hotel car park. Took about 10 mins for the hotel to get my booking from Hotels.com. Check-in was alright. The room was ok. The bed sheet was dirty. Had some blood stain and mud on it. Asked the reception to get a new bed sheet and pillow case, the new one wasn't that clean either. As we were very tired, we didn't ask again. Overall it was fine.

Terrible old and dirty old hotel
First the hotel is DISHONEST, on the website they put they have the room type i booked but when im there, they said the room that i booked were just booked away by another customer and left us to choose a twin bed room or downgrade our room for a double bed. I paid for a much higher price room but ask me to downgrade, will you be happy with it? Left with no choice we continued with the twin bed. The next horror is the room condition, aircon was dripping water, lights were dim, room is smelly with a sweat smell, and to our HORROR, THE BEDS AND PILLOWS HAVE SHOES MARKINGS. I am 100% sure they did not change the sheets or pillow casing after each customers stay here. This is the first time i booked a 4 stars $100 hotel room but actually looks like a 2 stars and below $30 hotel room. Usually you will see push carts collecting dirty bedsheets and changing new ones, i have not seen any here. Its covid period and they are so LAZY to even do that to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Everywhere is so dirty it looks like its not cleaned at alll. Will never ever come back to this place and urge everyone to avoid at all cost unless you want to stay in an uncomfortable and dirty place.

I have no idea how it’s rated a 4-star. Paid almost $300 for a night in their Amerin suite but was horrified at the condition of it. The exterior of the hotel was bad enough but the state of the room is horrid. The surfaces were not cleaned, dust and grime everywhere and moulds were growing on the wooden door. The carpet was dirty and the metal details (sinks etc.) are rusty. The washer in the suite was very gross. At this point, I doubt they gave us new bedsheets. Given the price, this is definitely a ripoff. Location is bad as well, food at the “Skyview rooftop” was bad; the singer sounded like her soul has left her body. Seriously, don’t ever waste your money here.
