Truth be told, our host goes above and beyond with the home. We had far more than needed for our stay. The home is conveniently located and very quiet. 'The house was great alternative to a hotel because we have 2 miniature dachshunds and we enjoyed being able to be so close to downtown, take them into the yard, not worry about the occassional bark, etc. The house was neat, clean and the process was extremely easy. These old, historic houses are interesting because they are "old", but that adds to the charm. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this property and April to anyone visiting New Bern. It's also right across from the Police...

The house isn’t far from plenty of restaurants to eat at. I loved house the house came with the bunk house for people to stay in also. The owners provided shampoo, conditioner and soap in each shower. '
