Beautiful Oceanfront Home in prestigious Ocean Ridge with large deck overlooking the beautiful North Topsail beaches. On the main floor you'll find the nicely appointed family room with generous ocean views, gas fireplace and large flatscreen tv. The kitchen boasts all new cabinets and countertops, refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is the oceanfront dining room. The main floor also has a king bedroom with full private bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a half bathroom. The entire home features solid interior doors and insulated interior walls. The kitchen and family room have been updated with crown molding and cove lighting.

The upper level has two oceanfront bedrooms with private bathrooms, newly updated in 2025. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed with built in window seats with spectacular ocean views. Between the two oceanfront bedrooms is a family room that includes a sectional (with pullout sofa), flat screen tv and sliding doors to an upper balcony. The upper hallway leads to a fully appointed laundry room, a children's bedroom with a twin trundle bed and a twin on full pyramid bunk bed.

Enjoy the oceanfront deck, complete with a privacy wall. An outdoor shower is available on the lower level. There is a gas grill and Foreman grill at the house.

The garage has separate climate control (mini-split A/C) along with an epoxy finished floor and painted walls. There is also a ping pong table for kids young and old, a sleeper sofa, additional sofa and apartment sized fridge.

The Ocean Ridge community pool is located 0.3 miles from the house, about a five-minute walk along the beach.

Our turnover day is Saturday. Our weekly rentals are from Saturday-Saturday only.

While we have no control over whether severe weather will impact Topsail Island, we do offer full refunds if a named storm or hurricane impacts your stay, or a pro-rated refund if it impacts part of your stay. If you have any questions, please let us know.

You may see references to a hot tub in previous reviews. The hot tub was removed from the property at the end of 2024.

Best Beach Week

We just had the best beach week at Kacy's Cottage. The location was amazing where your feet hit the sand as soon as you stepped off the deck. The house was immaculate and included a fully stocked kitchen, spacious rooms, and plenty of seating. Our kids loved the ping pong table on the first floor, and we enjoyed watching the waves from the deck. The communication with the owner, Jamie, and the property manager, Debbie, was professional and timely. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in North Topsail.

Great stay in north topsail.

Dan and Jamie have created a wonderful place to enjoy your next vacation. From the beautiful, truly picturesque view from the deck looking out at the ocean, which is literally steps away, to the refreshingly clean home, you’ll arrive to a beach home you’ll love, and leave with great memories. We’ve been coming to north topsail for years and this was our first time staying here. We loved it !! Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Beach is great for shelling. Outdoor space on the deck is great for morning coffee, all meals, and with the outdoor speakers you’ll have fun after the sun goes down! Deb, the cleaning lady, is a delight and super responsive. We only needed some sheets and towels and she came immediately. You’ve got to appreciate that kind of timely response. All in all we had a superb time and look forward to returning.

Great House and Even Greater Location

We were the first renters of the 2025 season. The owners, the floor plan, the fresh coat of paint, the fully-stocked kitchen (equipment, dishes, etc)... it was all fantastic. The location of the property on the island is especially appealing as there is only one road at this stretch of the island and homes only on the beach-side... no homes from the sound side or blocks of additional side roads with homes stacked up on each other all with people piling on to the beach right in front of your home!Both the owners and the property manager were extremely accessible and responsive to resolve a couple of minor questions we had while we stayed.The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness, was that the home really needed a deep cleaning to start the season. The recent painting and sanding left a fine layer of dust over everything. The cleaning crew did a cursory cleaning, but they didn't bother wiping down the fixtures and decor or move those items from the various furniture pieces, counters and shelves. We brought this to the owner's attention and I am confident that it will be rectified for future visitors. We'd definitely stay here again!PS - The house no longer has a hot tub. The listing doesn't list one as an amenity any longer, but the AI review summary calls it out as a repeated highlight from former renters' reviews (prior to the 2025 season).

Beach house vacation

Our family met here for a late summer beach vacation and had a wonderful time together! The beach house was beautiful with a great layout and we loved the location right on the beach. The views from the windows of the house were also stunning! We relaxed on the beach, played games, went to Surf City, visited the sea turtle hospital and walked the beach daily. Loved eating and relaxing on the expansive deck and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings! Jamie was such a responsive host and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. Our first trip to North Topsail was a big success and we hope to return again soon!!

Great Stay

Our stay was great with the large group we had. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Having the house right on the beach was a super plus. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub as well at night. The property managers were very responsive with the stove issue we had. We also met Deb, the housekeeper who was very professional and asked us for any suggestions for future guests.

Great communication with owner and property manager. Had minor issues which were resolved satisfactory day of vheck in. Only recommendation is regarding the kitchen. Pots and pans, dishes are very unorganized. There is no large kettle so we were unabe to boil sweet corn or other large food items for our family of 10. The kitchen is small for advertized 14 people. We were happy with the spices and other provided staples. Kids had a blast. Deck is great and the location so close to the beach is wonderful. Food Lion is 5 minutes away for most of our groceries. Kids are ready to return next year!
