Family Vacation

The property was absolutely beautiful. The pictures are great, but don't truly capture how much space there is, the amenities or how nice the home is. Great property in a quite location. Our family of 6 was more than comfortable and could have easily had double our size and still been extremely comfortable. All appliances, utilities and amenities worked great with no issues. Beds were all very comfortable and extra blankets/bedding was excellent. Nice oversized fleece blankets, fans and heaters in every room, so much more than was expected. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit in the backyard, but did have a friendly black bear make an appearance through the trees. Complimentary bear spray was provided for us as well. Never had any worry while outside, using the hot-tub, grill, etc....Communication with the host was excellent and timely. Close to the West Entrance to Yellowstone and the town of West Yellowstone. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Five Stars for Henry's Rustic Retreat

Henry's Rustic Retreat did not disappoint! We were a family group of 12, kids and adults and there was plenty of room for everyone! 2 washers and dryers came in handy. Well equipped, roomy kitchen for big family dinners. Wildlife abounds on the property. Our favorites were the moose! Hot tub was great after long days at Yellowstone NP. Ping pong and foosball were kid favorites. The only minor issue we had was with the tv in the great room. Contacted the property manager and had a brand new, enormous, 85 inch screen tv within 24 hours. Cannot say enough good things about this property!

Loved this property!! The house was great and very comfortable. Location was great. Wooded property with neighbors, but feels very private. Easy 30 min drive to Yellowstone. Tons of stuff to do nearby. We even had moose and bald eagles visit.

Once in a life time vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Twelve family members fit comfortably in this beautiful rustic home, 20 minutes from West Yellowstone Park entrance. Our days at the park were amazing but it was nice to come home from a long day of site seeing and hiking to a fully equipped, relaxing environment. We grilled on the patio and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The owner quickly responded to our call when the power went out one morning. She immediately sent a crew to investigate and the power was back on within the hour. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I highly recommend making this home part of your vacation.

Perfect Location

Our family loved staying at this cabin. It was a close drive to West Yellowstone and was steps from the Henry’s Fork River where we could fly fish and kayak. The house was very clean and well stocked with anything and everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay at Henry’s Rustic Retreat

We had an amazing time! The house itself was gorgeous, well stocked, wonderfully laid out and super clean. There were 10 in our group - 7 adults and 3 teens - plenty of space for everyone. The proximity to Yellowstone was great - around 25 mins. We saw mule deer several times out the front and back windows and even saw a bull moose in the front yard on our last day. Very cool!!! We did have a fire in the fire pit one night and the kids used the hot tub one evening. Very charming! We really liked the location, but the dirt road and manual gate were a bit of a pain. Honestly, that’s the only slightly negative point about this property. We got lucky with the weather and it only felt hot upstairs one day. We got tickets to the rodeo one night (not great, but it was an experience) and did a float trip out of Mack’s Inn (highly recommend) one day. Overall one of our favorite family vacations ever.

Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Location !

We loved staying at this beautiful cabin! The layout of the cabin worked so well for our family of adults, teenagers, and kids! The location was wonderful! Quiet neighborhood and very private! The cabin was clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen items, and paper goods needed for the weekend. Our host was attentive and responsive! We have been to this cabin before and have loved each time we have stayed! An extra bonus was a fox coming to the back door one night and seeing two moose in the backyard the following morning! It was amazing!

Great cabin

We enjoyed the place. It was a perfect cabin for our family. It had everything we needed and was very clean. I love the area the cabin was located too. It was not to close to neighbors. Sharie was easy to get a hold of and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place.

Awesome Cabin for the Family

We reserved Henry's Rustic Retreat over a year ago and did it deliver. Our host, Sharie was excellent. She answered all our questions in a rapid manner and gave us the confidence we had the right place for the family. The roomy cabin allowed all of us to spread out but come together for evenings around the dining table or on the deck. The quiet was beautiful and the almost daily visits from the deer was so enjoyable. Enjoy yourself here, we did!

Memory of our Son

The property is located in the perfect location for Yellowstone Park and lots of other activities in the area. We enjoyed each day to the fullest. Sharie was the best on everything. Just a few issues with the house. The bunk room needs different beds all 6 were uncomfortable and falling down. the stools needed repairs in the kitchen. Hot tub needed water added. But its a good house and plenty of room. We had a family of 13 of 9 adults and 1 teenager and 2 - 11year olds and 1- 9 year old

The house was perfect for our trip. The kitchen is large and two people can cook at the same time. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is large enough that kids, teens, and adults all have space and don’t feel cramped. It was large enough for four families and we didn’t feel cramped at all. I think this house is above average and I will return there. There is a beautiful silver fox in the neighborhood who has a likening for leather baseball mits, other than that it was perfect.

2022 Family Yellowstone Trip

The house was beautiful and very well supplied. Had some issues with the heating. Had a mama moose and her newborn in the front yard for most of the week, mule deer and elk in the back. We had an extended family of 13 that the house was perfect for. The hot tub felt so good!

Fun couples getaway

We had 5 couples that loved the property. The guys went snowmobiling and ladies stayed warm in front of the fireplace. The hot tub was nice, the large dining table was nice, the kitchen had about everything you could need. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean with beautiful views. We were close in location to Yellowstone park and west Yellowstone. The property owner was very responsive. There really is nothing bad to say about this place. We will hopefully be back.

Beautiful secluded cabin

Perfect cabin to host a big family! Plenty of space and rooms for everyone. The back deck is a perfect lounge spot with a view into the woods. Loved the open layout and how close it was to Yellowstone and other outings.

Good location in Gods beautiful world

If you like deer and foxes running in your yard every day and you are away from a lot of people this is the place. A very welcoming house for a lot of space for everyone to spread out but come together when you want to. Will definitely stay there again if in the area
