Tucked among the towering pines, Cozy Cottage gives you the peaceful, private mountain setting you’re looking for while keeping you close enough to walk into town for dining, shopping, coffee, and exploring everything Idyllwild has to offer.

Inside, the newly refreshed space blends mountain charm with a fun, updated design. The home sleeps up to six guests and features two bedrooms with king-size beds, a loft, one bathroom, and a washer and dryer, making it a comfortable choice for couples, families, or a getaway with friends.

Step outside onto the spacious deck and settle into the slower pace of mountain life. Start your morning with coffee beneath the trees, come home and unwind after a day exploring Idyllwild, or spend your evenings enjoying the fresh mountain air and stargazing.

Whether you’re escaping for a quiet weekend in the mountains or coming to experience the cottage you saw transformed on HGTV, Cozy Cottage is ready for its comeback, and your stay.

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is NOT equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

- Parking: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 001346

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
