Sunset Cove Summer Beauty

This home DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We’ve rented many many homes thru VRBO and this one is extra special. Plenty of indoor/outdoor space with ample parking and the interior is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. And the views are spectacular!!! We had an issue with exterior patio fans and they were quick to respond and replace the fans. I highly recommend this home for your stay on AMI.

- The Good:1. The view and the balconies are perfect. We had every meal outside. 2. It is nicely decorated 3. Location is great4. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Would also be plenty for 6 adults.- The Disappointing:1. The code for checkin did not work. We waited at the door with kids, groceries, etc for a while while the "answering service" tried to get someone to help. At that point it was late for dinner, etc. I find it is harder to deal with places that are managed by a company versus an individual.2. Questions went unanswered and it was never easy to reach someone.3. Listing noted a grill but none to be found. I asked and a day later they said a new one was delivered. We never used it as we were looking for it the day before4. King mattresses are badly sagging and uncomfortable. The queen beds were fine for the kids.5. We were told there was a beach umbrella and chairs. Umbrella was broken and chairs were small and hard to use. - Nice to Have:1. It would be nice if there were a few basics. For example, there is a coffee machine with a keurig and even 1 day worth of coffee would have made a big difference given you arrive late and don't know what you're getting.2. Needed a first aid kid after my son fell and cut his chin. I think every property should have one3. The a/c locks at 70 so some areas are warm at night4. Needs hooks by the patio doors and in master bath5. The pool is in back(away from beach) which is unclear in listing and not great

Awesome Vacation Spot!

Outstanding stay at a beautiful property! Spacious and clean, very nicely furnished, right on the beach. Amazing sunsets were straight off the back deck! Best place we've stayed hands down in Anna Maria Island. Could not have been more pleased. Hope to stay here again soon.

Almost Perfect!

What makes this condo perfect… 1) Locations! Walk to Walgreens, Grocery,Dollar Store, 5 food places, ice cream, bike rental - it’s all a block away! And this condo is on the beach, just walk right out to the ocean. 2) View! The condo has the most beautiful view inside and out. It is beautifully decorated inside, and the ocean view out the windows is second to none! 3) It is very clean! And has a laundry service that does a good job - towels and sheets smell fresh not like bleach at all. What could be better - first let me say that none of these will stop us from coming again but here is the list … 1) Beds are horribly sagging. New mattresses are needed desperately! 2) Air conditioning is too strong in master (vent is too high to adjust) and only works a little bit in back bedrooms. so one couple was freezing and the other was sweating. We couldn’t open the windows because of #3 3) No screens on any window or patio doors. 4) It’s is minusculy stocked! One paper towel roll, one trash bag, one dishwasher pod, 2toilet paper rolls per toilet, one hair dryer and that’s it. There is also No kitchen spices- not even salt and pepper. No foil, or plastic wrap or storage bags. Thank Goodness for the dollar store!

LOVELY CONDO WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW

The decor in the condo was even better than expected and very comfortable. The owner has beautiful decorations in the unit that you normally don't see in a rental. The unit was very spacious with much oversized furniture. The kitchen was fully stocked from silverware to glasses to plates and bowls and cooking items if you were so inclined. But the best feature was the view of the ocean and the one hundred steps to the beach! One lacking item would be some lounge chairs and an umbrella that you could take to the beach. Would love to book for a longer period next time.

Very Disappointing

We had standing water in the dining room 5 out of 7 days that was reported Sunday, but not resolved until Thursday. A large piece of the soffit was dangling the whole week threatening to fall and hurt us if we used the large porch so we could not enjoy the beach from our unit. The elevator had a stink, was hot and required tugging and pulling the door to get it to work, this was not good for our 26 year old disabled son confined to a wheelchair. All requests for restitution of any kind were rejected by the new owners. Avoid this property. If you have a problem it will not get solved in a timely manner and there will be no consideration for the client being unable to use significant amenities.

Beach Paradise

We have been coming here for several years for a small (5 people) family vacation. Just the adults for a haven of beauty and serenity at the waters edge. This is the first time we’ve stayed in this unit and will return again next year. The condo is beautiful and we treated it as we would our own homes.

A perfect vacation!

We had an incredible time in this very special location! The unit has been recently updated and is gorgeous. Our adult son has multiple disabilities and the parking below and elevator up to the condo made it extremely easy for us to come and go. Our older son’s family - including three young daughters - stayed about a mile away. It is nearly impossible for them to eat out at this stage in life, so we invited them over for a few meals in the evening. It was nice to be able to eat outside on the porch, or altogether in the dining area. Our son with disabilities has never been able to enjoy the beach as much as on this trip. Down the elevator and a few yards across the sand was all the effort needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the traffic along that stretch was surprisingly not a factor as that isn’t the case at other locations further down the coast. A large grocery store, Ace hardware and other convenient stores were right around the corner. It’s more than we have ever spent on a unit for a week, but after three vacation-less summers we decided to splurge and are very glad we did!!

Awesome place!

This place was much nicer than its pics even online! Top notch all the way and right on the beach. The interior was beautiful and the windows made you feel that the ocean was part of the decor. We felt like we had a week of heaven. Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach are definitely worth experiencing! This was our first time to the area, but we will be back.

Gorgeous condo!

Clean, spacious, and convenient! The beach is just a few steps away, and it's a short drive to restaurants and shopping. All the rooms are nicely appointed, the kitchen is spacious, and the elevator makes it easy for luggage and groceries.. We'll be back!

Amazing

What a fabulous condominium. Beautifully decorated and well-maintained. All amenities were met. The location is amazing with the beach steps away from your private upstairs balcony communicating to the beach with private stairs. Elevator available for groceries and luggage. The property managers were easily available and responded quickly for any questions. We will be back!!
