'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'Prima locatie als je naar Universal Studio's wilt. Dat is op 10 minuten lopen (als je de Shuttle Bus van Universal pakt bij de metro, anders 25 minuten lopen). Verder is er weinig te doen in de buurt. '

'Staff was friendly and helpful. Mostly what stood out for me was the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. The owners have kept up the ambiance of the beautiful building and interior with gorgeous period paintings, moldings and woodwork. I spent considerable time just meandering through the main halls, in awe of all the beauty. Not only is the inside amazing, but there is a gorgeous courtyard and pool outside. Anyone interested in staying amongst gorgeous surroundings should surely...
