Overall our stay was ok. Four days into our stay demolition started right below/beside us. It lasted all day through the end of our trip, jackhammering/drilling. We have a baby and after the first day I contacted the property manager asking when/if it was going to stop because it literally sounded like they were coming through the walls. You could not even speak at a normal tone with someone in the same room without yelling. Unfortunately, our baby did not nap well those days, which made for rough evenings on our vacation. It was not noted in the listing that construction would be taking place. If it had been I would not have booked this property because we have small children. When they responded to me they said that they were trying to contact the HOA. The next day they got back with me and said the HOA informed them that construction would continue through October 24, but demolition would be over in the next few days (which obviously wasn’t helpful to us as we checked out 2 days later). I think communication between the HOA, owners, and Seashore Vacations is lacking. We love Shorewood because of the property, spaciousness of the condos, location to coligny, and zero entry pool, but unfortunately I don’t believe we will book this condo or another with Seashore Vacations again.
