Ocean One 106 - Beach-side 1st Floor Condo

Stay beachside and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 106 enjoy a landscape view but won't cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This nicely furnished property has a recently renovated kitchen with sparkling white appliances & cabinetry, and granite countertops. King beds in the master bedroom and bedroom 2, two queens in bedroom 3, and a living room sleep sofa. For larger groups - please inquire about Ocean One 107 (2BR/2Bath) located just across the hallway or any of our other listings in Ocean One.

Great location. Amenities in excellent condition. Filled with everything you need in the kitchen. Appliances work well. Pool area, fire pits, and outdoor grills in good condition. Easy, accessible beach entrance. Walkable to Coligny stores and restaurants. I hope to be back again next year.

Awesome visit, missed the pool!

Unit was awesome, so convenient, clean and plenty of room! The decor was so beautiful and had all amenities!! We were so impressed with what all the unit provided.. utensils, cookware, coolers, serving pieces!! We just missed having the pool for 2days. It has to be closed down. It’s not a big deal with the adults but a little disappointing for the grandbaby. Definitely will rent this unit again!!

Reserved for family during son's wedding

We reserved this condo based on its location to the Beach House where my son's wedding was taking place. The location was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the condo. It was used for many wedding preparations and was roomy and decorated nicely. We will definitely come back.

Great location

We loved the location of this property which made it work. Access to some pool/ocean toys was appreciated. Unfortunately the entire unit needs to be updated. Patio furniture is rusty and unusable. Floors were not clean based on my white socks! In spite of its shortcomings, we enjoyed our time there!

Great location to the beach. House could use some updates and a little TLC. Cushions are threadbare on the inside and outside furniture and mattresses could be better. The cleanliness was phenomenal and the walking distance to the beach and Coligny Plaza was also terrific

Family Vacation

Overall our experience was decent. Staying on Hilton Head for the past several years, expectations were a little high. We stayed at Ocean One in a different unit, managed by a different company two years ago and were able to have 3 parking passes, one for each bedroom rented. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this property due to the two pass rule. The unit needs updates, most of which are minor and would not be too costly. The kitchen was not stocked well with basic supplies (only one cutting knife which proved to be difficult for cooking in). The stove door was about to fall off, oven racks broken, and the dresser in the double room was not usable as others mentioned. The location is great!

The condo was in terrible shape. Cleanliness was awful, mold on toilet seats, sand in beds, dirty!

Will never rent it again, exposed electrical wires and outlets off of the walls, patio was a unusable. Chairs were rusty, cushions dirty, rugs were pieces of indoor carpet. Awful

Family vacation at Hilton head

We had a fabulous time! Condo was in the perfect location ! Just a few hiccups along the way, stove was a little difficult to figure out and the patio furniture was terrible! Owner need to buy new!

Close to everything. Restaurants you can walk to and grocery store as well as beach.

Nice hidden treasure of a place to stay. I would stay here again. The Vacasa office was not up to par but the property was.

Great spot! Walking distance to tons of nearby eats and shopping.

We came to HHI for the RBC Heritage golf tournament, and wanted to stay on the beach. This unit was one of the few that didn’t have any twin beds which was a plus for us all being adults! Not beachfront, but on the first level which was super convenient. 5 minute walk to Coligny Plaza where we ate every night. Perfectly ideal location. The rooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom. Had detergent and dish liquid waiting, and everyone had 2 towels. Checkout couldn’t have been easier. A little outdated decor-wise, but truly unbeatable spot IMO. Would stay again 100%!

Location is the sole redeeming factor for this property.

This was our first rental with vrbo relying on other platforms for prior vacations. Starting with positives, the location is phenomenal. We couldn’t ask for a more convenient location with the beach being right there and walking distance from everything we needed. Location is unfortunately where positives end. The check in process felt pointless since all we received was information how to do it and not even check my id to confirm it was me. Arrival to the unit was very disappointing. We identified from the door that this was not what we hoped we booked. The keypad was crusted over and entry met us with the smell of dust and overall uncleanliness. Traveling during covid we knew was risky, however we booked through vrbo and this unit due to assurance of in depth cleaning. I can’t imagine that was completed. The kitchen was ill stocked with most pieces with caked on food that needed to be cleaned. The refrigerator water dispenser did not work. We hoped to cook a meal and was left very frustrated with the lack or unsafe supplies we had including multiple pans that had the bottom peeling off into our food. The utensils were very flimsy and unable to complete basic cutting task easily. The bathrooms smelled like mold and the shower doors were immovable due to issues with the track. Drawers in the dressers were simply placed with no support and would fall into itself when bothered. The back door gets stuck. We had a sewage problem the last day with the toilet overflowing during a shower. The windows to the front door face the hallway that have very bright lights on with no black out curtains which kept us up throughout the night. The beds were fine, but smelled dirty. We had multiple stains on the comforter and sheets. If I could go back I would have looked at other properties. This was a disappointment and ended up being a much less relaxing trip due to the lack of cleanliness and appropriately stocked. Much work needed before I could reccomend.

I totally get the condo is not on the ocean but the property is really overlooking the parking lot. The pic on the site does not match the view - the back deck was dirty, the floors in the condo were dirty, sheets on one bed inside out, sheets on other bed were stained. Low ceilings, really dated bathrooms, dresser drawers broken from slider...if it was summer and we were on the beach 100%, would probably have overlooked a lot of this but, with cold weather, we were inside and the flaws were obvious. Would not rent this unit again.

Great Vacation Time

We spent 4 nights at this apartment and enjoyed it very much, location is EXCELLENT. Our only comment is regarding the kitchen utensils, the pots and pans were small and we were in 6 people and there were no containers to store food (leftovers). Besides that, we had a WONDERFUL time, the house was perfect for 6 people. We would definitely return.

Great Vacation

We were pleased with the condo. The beach was too crowded for our taste during a pandemic, but that was our fault. The location was very convenient to the beach, pool and Coligny restaurants and shops. For as many people as were there, the complex was quiet and peaceful. Although not the Ritz, it was clean and comfortable; we had everything we needed and had a great time with our family. Communication with the rental company was great and they tended to a minor repair immediately.
