'Lovely quiet room cold outside but room was nice and warm and cosy perfect for us as a stopover. The room and en-suite bathroom was clean and the tea/coffee/water was nice. TV and WiFi all good. Breakfast in the bar was good would highly recommend. '

'Some of the people in the reception were very rude, Breakfast, big disappointment, overcooked eggs, burnt muffin, no napkins, they forgot to bring toast, etc... they clean the room without vacuuming the floor. We stayed 5 nights.'

'We had such a lovely weekend at the Old Bell Hotel. The staff is so warm and friendly which definitely made our stay. The property itself is very uniquely decorated and had so much character and charm. The staff accommodated our every need and our room (we booked a junior master) was spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! 'We were given a handi cap room which was not the best as everything was low sink, bed ect. We were not informed prior to our stay I would have booked elsewhere. To find our room was like a rabbit warren if a disabled person had to walk to the end of long and narrow corridors it would terrible. Not impressed at all'

'A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay'
