'We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning '

'We were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and brilliantly fitted out. Very comfortable beds and hot tub was fantastic, lookinv out at stunning views.'

'The property was clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of firewood to heat the hot tub and have a fire. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was on check-in, we never got the email that gave us access to the cabin. Luckily, the landowner was walking around at 9:30 p.m. and was able to let us into the cabin. I definitely wish we could have a few more days there. It was definitely worth the price'

'We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. '
