'Het huis ligt op een heuvel en heeft een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Het is compleet uitgerust. De toegangsweg is soms wat smal, maar heeft genoeg ruimte her en der om te passeren. Wij vonden het prima te doen. Inderdaad wat trappen vervolgens om naar het huis te komen (dus niet geschikt voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn, maar verder goed te doen). Mooie omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden en natuur. Vriendelijke eigenaren.'

'I've tried to speak with the owner before posting this but have had no reply. Beautiful location completely spoilt by the classic/abandoned cars in the front garden making it unsafe for children and dogs. Field next door is similarly blighted. This spot is a blot on the otherwise beautiful scenery. 2 cookers both in need of deep and thorough clean. 1 grill and 1 oven not working. Fridges and surfaces clean. 'Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.'

'We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!'

'The Applestore is lovely located and central for daytrips to Wales, Hereford and lovely towns as Coleford and Kington. We had great diners at the Old Court Hotel and the Fforest Inn, both very good and dog friendly. We would have loved to meet the owners of the Applestore and compliment them on the cottage. We had a lovely sunny week!'

'Such a delightful stay -cosy, exceptionally clean cottage with everything we needed. Lovely quite location although you are unable to work anywhere due to the roads but lovely pubs in just a short drive away. The welcome hamper was gorgeous abs such a lovely surprise!'

'The property is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The location is great for walking into town and along the riverfront. We found lots of locals helpful and friendly and the coffee shops were fine. The White Lion pub across the street was especially pleasant and the food good.'

'We are just back from a fabulous stay at this property, Kim and her husband were so welcoming and made effort to pop in that first evening to check all was okay. The house is amazing and thankfully very warm. Don’t be misled when you first get there as there are definitely 4 lovely bedrooms, but two seperate stair cases. Also don’t mistake Parker’s cottage for Parker’s, it’s right behind it and you access it by entering it up the little road right beside the red postbox. We would definitely...

We took our dog and this is an ideal place for this with it,s fully fenced in dog freindley garden and great walks on your doorstep.
