'Set in the quiet countryside, access is down a private drive leading to a secure carpark in front of the main building. The staff were very welcoming and the food served was very nice. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our weekend'

'The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and windows that opened enough to provide good airflow. There were a couple of minor issues in the bathroom. The plastic trim around the shower base had a large hole, leaving sharp edges exposed, so you had to be careful not to catch your toes. The light above the mirror also had a bulb out. 'Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. Restaurant menu was limited but is being updated and the prices were reasonable, as was the bar. Breakfast was enough to keep you going for the day. Never got to use the pool but looked inviting.
