Enjoy spectacular sunrises as you lounge on the over-sized rear deck complete with a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Bay and a quick commute to ALL the happenings in the 757!

Reserve your stay today and enjoy your own private beach on this pristine swath of the Chesapeake Bay! In Season rates run from May 15 thru September 4 and run from Saturday to Saturday.

Out of Season dates are flexible and require a 3- day minimum and are at reduced rates. We are strictly devoted to family-oriented vacations. Please note NO Parties, Family Reunions, Weddings, or large gatherings are allowed @ The Frisky Dolphin.

“The Frisky Dolphin” is located on the private end of fabulous Buckroe Beach in historic Hampton, VA. Buckroe Beach is on the Bay and is a ¾ mile stretch of white sand beach with an abundant & diverse ecosystem of plants, birds, and sea life. Pods of migrating Bottle Nose Dolphins frequent the surf in front of the unit frequently providing a spectacular show dancing on top of the water performing aerial stunts. Bird watchers will delight watching the Brown Pelican, osprey and even the majestic Bald Eagle soar overhead at close range hunting their next meal.
Sliding glass doors span across the entire back of the house spilling out on to the over -sized rear deck from the living room, master bedroom and one guest room. Each room has a clear view of the sand and the surf. Drift off to sleep listening to the sound of the waves gently lapping the shore.

The living room is spacious and features a fireplace with a beautiful stone chimney and a set of dual sliding glass doors spilling out on to the deck. The living room is complete with comfy furniture, mini stereo system, and a 60” flat screen TV.

The master bedroom provides increased privacy with its own private slider to the rear deck and on the opposite side of the living space from the guest rooms. This spacious master features a new king size bed, ceiling fan, master bathroom & a 46” flat screen TV.

Two guest bedrooms radiate off the living room on the opposite side of the house and have a full bathroom located in between. The rear guest bedroom includes a comfortable king size bed, ceiling fan, beautiful wall mirror and private slider to the rear deck. The front guest bedroom features a Queen size bed, ceiling fan & a toddler bed. The front guest room does not have direct access to the rear deck, providing the perfect set up to accommodate small children.

The kitchen is complete with a wet bar and fully equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher, double wall oven, cooktop with grill, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig and all the necessities to prepare a home cook meal.

The dining room radiates off the kitchen and includes a solid wood table with 6 chairs and a high- chair for small children. There is a set of sliding glass doors leading to the front deck complete with a gas grill and a screened in front porch. The front porch is equipped with a table, 4 chairs and an electronic dart board for some family fun out of the sun.

The rear deck has a variety of deck furniture to relax in the shade or to soak of the rays including 4 Captain chairs, a sun lounger, patio table with 6 chairs shaded by a large solar cantilever umbrella that lights up a night.

The private beach transitions into a well-maintained public beach featuring a concrete Boardwalk, Nautical Playground, Live Stage, Watercraft Rentals, Picnic Area with Gazebo’s and more.

The Frisky Dolphin is a quick commute to many family fun attractions & historic sites via Interstate 64 including Busch Gardens, Water Country, Fort Monroe, Colonial Williamsburg, and more. Good news for the furry members of your family-We are Pet friendly! A completed pet addendum, a picture of your pet & a non-refundable pet fee is all that is required to bring the family pet. There is a non-refundable $200 pet fee for one pet or $250 for two pets less than 50lbs & maximum of 2. Please note we do not entertain dangerous breeds. Pets are allowed on the private beach however you must abide by the leash law when you leave the property line of The Frisky Dolphin.

Once you have secured your reservation with payment, please complete the rental application and pet addendum if applicable and return within 72 hours thru the VRBO site. Please send with your picture ID and a picture of your pet(s) if applicable to finalize your reservation.

Failure to return the required documents will result in cancellation due to liability concerns so please don't forget!
